THE PERFECT GIFT FOR ANY HUMAN PRIMATE!
These 'Primates': TOTALLY-EXCEEDED my expectations. ...well-worth the price of this: "Package-Deal"! They are meticulously-designed; and: "painted". (the colors are 'imbedded-in' the: "mold's plastic". Thus, they won't: "rub-off".) They all: "stand-up"; without-falling-over! Each one is an exquisite replica; of our: "NEAR-AND-DEAR". YOU WILL LOVE THEM! I: 'HIGHLY-RECOMMEND'.. THIS WONDERFUL PRODUCT.

Great! As usual
My son loves getting these toobs with all the different abilities, it’s great for teaching him the names and to get him speaking. His speech is delayed so anything that engages him like this great! He loves playing with these in the yard, his sensory tray/dioramas, and the bath. They hold up great for all these. My only complaint, which is super obnoxious, I’m surprised they added a lemur. They have a Primates toob but this is Apes and Monkeys so there shouldn’t be a lemur included. They are usually pretty accurate as far as using the right animals in the right environments.

Great Resource For Learning About Primates!
I bought these as teaching aids to help my kids learn about different animals. Concepts are so much easier for them to grasp if they can hold and play with the animals they're leaning about, rather than just reading about them in a book. The animals are well crafted, the pieces have been nicely painted and they're fairly detailed which helps them look more realistic. They also have their names on the underside in case you need help identifying what they are. Most of the pieces in this set stand up on their own fairly well, although some are a little wobbly. The only thing I find a little cumbersome is the tube itself. While it's great for storing, it's compact size and odd shape makes it difficult to get the animals in and out - the rope handle also seems to get in the way. Other than the somewhat troublesome tube, the animals in this set are great and I will definitely be buying more of these collections.

Not a good orangutan, two monkeys misidentified
I wanted some monkeys for our continent boxes. In particular, I wanted some for South America, Africa, AND Asia. This set however did not include Asian species other than the orangutan (which as not up to par and we are not even going to use). I suggest that this set add in snow monkeys from Japan and snub-nosed monkeys from China. Nine of the monkeys were very clear as to what species they were and were pretty well painted. This includes the: Baboon, Squirrel Monkey, Golden Lion Tamarin, Lemur, Spider Monkey, Gorilla, Woolly Monkey, Mandrill, and Chimpanzee. The Mandrill we already had and was better painted, so we did not actually use this new one, but it is still pretty good. The Orangutan was a terrible brown color, not orangy at all. It looked like a large brown lump. We went with a different orangutan figure from a jungle set. The last two monkeys were either mis-colored or mis-labeled. I have no idea what was supposed to be the Capuchin or Red Tail Monkey because they are simply not in this set. The last two monkeys appear to be black howler monkeys (both male which is black and golden with a black face which is female). I mean, a Red Tail Monkey has a red tail and none of these models do. The Capuchin has a white face and none of these models do. I have no problems using them as howler monkeys and I think they are a fabulous size to represent them.
