They seem to work. 2- 8 gig thumb drives for 8 bucks. I won't trust my life on them, but for that price they really are a good value.

These are the cheapest USB drives but they don't register as boot media upon startups, I SPECIFICALLY SEARCHED FOR BOOTABLE USB FLASH DRIVE, evidently someone was mistaken.

I do a lot of work on the computer so you might think I want want a USB with more storage, but when you're making bootable recovery drives, these are perfect. Anything bigger is just a waste of disk space. I also like the fact that it comes in three different colors, it makes it easy to know which drive I'm grabbing.

I used one for downloading a music playlist and it works fine in my cars usb port.
