A must have book to your library!
First and foremost- YOU NEED THIS BOOK IN YOUR lIFE!!! Healing Herbal Infusions is your 2020 Companion! I first got introduced to Herbal Infusions from Herb Master Susanna Weed and her recipient changed my life forever. I’ve been a practicing Herbalist for 15 years and I must say I love continuing my herbal education and Colleen Codekas did not disappoint. This book is perfect for herbal newbies, veterans and or someone looking for “alternatives” to BIG PH! Believe me I e been on that route and it’s a fast train to nowhere! Herbs are what I believe we were meant to use to heal ourselves and our loved-ones. This book is so simple to use and very straight foreword with easily accessible herbs (amazon) or natural foods store. Don’t forget to look in your own backyard community parks and or woods. I strongly believe in the power of herbs. I have worked with everything from skin ailments, neurological disorders and the big C. I healed myself from Lupus and Fibro. Yes healed! With herbs- and do my daily upkeep to manage my healing. It’s possible to re-boot your system and get back to a state of feeling “well”. Our organs and bodies are pretty remarkable given the right tools... I highly recommend this book to all.

Amazing Book for Beginners
I love this book and am incredibly happy with my purchase. It is exactly what I was hoping for--a simple and straightforward introduction to making medicinal herbal teas and to infusing herbs into oils, honey, vinegar, glycerin, alcohol, etc. for well-being and a variety of ailments.Every page has beautiful photos as well as simple instructions for delving right into making your own herbal remedies. Recommeded dosage guidelines are provided for each recipe, including for kids. And there is a nice section at the back of the book that goes over each herb in further detail, including contra indications. There is even a chapter with recipes for pregnant and postpartum women, babies, and kids, which as a mother of three young children I truly appreciate. The book does not really include information on plant identification, growing, or foraging, (which is not implied by the title,) However, I liked the book so much that I've started following the author's blog, and it contains additional recipes and educational information for those who want to further expand their knowledge of medicinal plants. All-in-all the book is a great purchase and I feel confident to get started making my own herbal medicines for me and my family.

Great Book!!!
For about 5 months now I have been slowly but surely trying to cut out anything I can to make my house a toxic free zone of chemicals including household cleaners and personal hygiene items. Here recently I started to think about herbal remedies, so I went on a search for a book to help with that and that’s when I came across this book. Since receiving that book I have read it 2-3 times. It is so easy to comprehend and the pictures are absolutely stunning. Another plus is that I can find a lot of the items I need right in my own back yard. I never realized there were so many different plants with healing properties. So far I have used the herbal shampoo and vinegar rinse and absolutely love them both. After trying many different ones, those are my favorite. I also made the boo boo balm. Having a 3 year old boy, so far this has come in handy a lot. I love that the author included dosages for children and whether or not it’s recommended for the younger kids. This will definitely be my go to book for future remedies.

Love, love, love
At first, I browsed this book from the library. I renewed it until I could do so no longer. I ended up buying a copy from Amazon just so I could own it forever. It explains how to make infusions for those who don't really know a lot about them. I grow a lot of herbs in my garden each year and always dehydrate a lot of them. I am looking forward to making tinctures this year, though I will be making them with vegetable glycerin rather than alcohol. Teas and other infusions are covered as well. Love, love, love.
