Perfect replacement for N-3055
Fit perfectly for a running toilet flap using an older American Standard N-3055. Easy to install and while I expected it to run slightly for a few days while the rubber adjusted to the water, it actually stopped the running immediately after installation.

Works great
Gasket and stop fit perfectly. I'm still trying to figure out how the grommet attaches.

Worked like a charm ! (Find that Utube Vid)
Worked like a charm !Tricky repair for a 1960's American Standard "Vintage" n fragile flush tower.Find the Utube video link, somewhere in the Q&A's.Because trying this repair on a 60 yr old vintage flush tower. Can result in a complete flush component replacement.I outta know (upstairs toilet). I tried that 8 yrs ago n failed. Trying to remove the "feather" gasket. Thus having to do a full, flush valve "Pita" replacement. But this time, it took 15 mins or less. With a couple of new gasket stretches. A wrench to slightly loosen n turn the top metal "flush activator retainer disc" (included). All while cutting off n removing, the old wavy one.Beware there is a flush valve base seal too.If that is still leaking after repair ?Aye Crumba !Then the real fun begins.Removing a pair of 60 yr old mounting bolts, in a confined space, @ 6-2 220 !Yikes!May the Force Be with U !

Parts fit perfect
The kit was a perfect replacement for the original parts. I was surprised to find these parts were still available. The job itself was not hard, but it did take a few days for penetrating lubricant to work so I could get the old parts off.

Perfect Fix for a 1960 Toilet
Parts fit exactly as they should and repaired a mint condition 1960 Standard (before it was called American Standard) toilet. Cheaper than replacing the toilet, and parts were impossible to find locally. Modern manufactured parts do not work.
