I ordered this Dual Dash Cam, Z-Edge Z3D 2.7" Screen Dual 1920 x 1080P Dash Cam Front and Rear (2560x1440P) on September 5 2019. It arrived on time. The package was fine and the camera was new. I had to order an SD card for it. The directions in the box are well written in English and the guide describes how to install the rear and the front camera. However, I watched a few youtube videos to learn how to hide the wires in the car interior. I recommend the same thing for anyone that buys this camera because the sticky tape that comes with this device, to use with the snaps. do not work in the heat! Avoid using the snaps and hide the wires. (If you do want to use the snaps than I recommend outdoor wall mounting tape (but that could ruin your vinyl.)Upon turning the car on, the camera worked instantly and its default settings are great for me (records 3 minute frames and shows the front and rear camera views.) I also tested viewing the videos from the SD card on my computer and the videos are flawless.I have used this camera in two different cars and it has performed well in both.Thank goodness I had this camera; it has recorded crazy drivers smashing into other drivers during my morning commute. Twice I had children run out in front of my car while I was driving slowly once near my work and another time in my neighborhood. Thankfully I stopped each time, but the camera caught each incident and showed that they ran out in front of my car too quickly.I am very happy with it. After 8 month of use it is working perfectly. I have yet to use all of its other features, like motion detection while parked, because I have not needed to use it. When I see other cameras at best buy or other big box stores with the same features listed for double the price, it makes me happy because I know that I got a good deal with this camera. The Z3D dual dash cam is a well made product!

After my old dash cam (front-facing) broke a little while ago, I have always been on the market for a dual dash cam. However, most of the dual dash cams that I looked at were much more expensive.Doing some more research - I found this gem on Amazon! I was excited to see that it was a dual dash cam system at an affordable price. To top it off, it had some great reviews and a lot of nifty features (such as G-Sensor, expandable storage, etc.).When I received the cam, after ensuring I had a full charge, I tested things out, and one thing that I was surprised about was the sensitivity of the G-Sensor.Specifically, when I picked it up, the unit turned on and started recording. This sensitivity is great and a feature that I was looking forward to for 2 reasons: i) I wanted to have a camera that would be activated if a collision ever occured (have been caught in a rear-end incident where the person who caused it sped away), and ii) Car break-ins are on a slight rise in some areas I shop at, so having it 'armed' when I am out shopping gives me piece of mind.Another great feature that couples with this is the night vision. I am usually skeptical of night vision / night modes because picture & video quality can get overly grainy, but this camera performed very well.On top of this - the form factor is not chunky at all, so it does not obstruct my line of sight while driving.For this pricepoint and for the wealth of features - I definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a dual dash cam set-up.

Easy to setup dash cam which is small in size. Comes with a large cable for power and then attachments to hold the wire. Doesn’t come with a sd card and needs to be purchased separately. It’s pretty easy to install and took me less than 5 mins to setup. Once you connect the gps antenna with the suction pad, all you need is SD card and power. Also there is a gps antenna which sticks out additional to the display. There is separate software if you want to track a previous ride or journey using this software to map gps location from the time stamp. Usually records the moment the vehicle starts/powers on. Can record in loop back mode and then display goes to power save but keeps recording. I like that it can take even photo when needed. Pretty sturdy once you fix it up and easy to remove sd card if we need to process anything and pretty small so won’t occupy much of the front glass. The quality of the picture and video is good and it can also do loop back and other functions. But I mainly bought it for recording when I am driving and have a auto erase and keep recording feature!!! Have been using it for quite a while and it also covers pretty good wide angle coverage (almost starts at the mid of the bonnet) overall satisfied with the purchase and recommend this buy to anyone!!!

Die Cam läßt sich sehr gut und schnell anbringen, ist seit etlichen Wochen täglich in Gebrauch und noch nicht einmal wieder abgefallen. Die Justierung der Kamera ist super, auch bei Kopfsteinpflaster verstellt sich nichts.Die Bildqualität ist sehr gut: scharfe, gleichmäßig ausgeleuchtete Bilder, auch in der Dunkelheit. Die Bilder sind (bei Anschluss über das GPS mit den Angaben über Datum, Zeit, Ort und gefahrener Geschwindigkeit unterlegt. Aber achtung: Umstellung Sommer-/Winterzeit erfolgt nicht automatisch.Loops werden bei Erschütterung automatisch gesichert, dafür ist es jedoch problematisch, wenn man bestimmte Sequenzen selbst in den vor Überschreiben gesicherten Bereich verschieben will (habe noch nicht herausfinden können, wie das geht).Der Parkwächter-Modus funktioniert einwandfrei, muss man jedoch jedesmal in den Einstellungen abschalten, wenn das Gerät über Nacht ins Handschuhfach muss.Erfreulich ist, daß etliche Stunden Aufnahme gespeichert werden können, unschön dagegen, daß das Gerät bei voller Speicherkarte nicht still und leise einfach überschreibt, sondern ständig nachfragt, ob man nicht neu formatieren will.Dies ist erst meine 2. Dashcam, daher erwarte ich wohl Features, die in diesem Preissegment nicht zu haben sind.Sehr erfreulich der Kundensupport: es fehlte ein kleines Teil, das wirklich schnell und sehr freundlich nachgeschickt wurde.(Anmerkung für unsere Post: es ist nicht sehr hilfreich, wenn man den Inhalt eines Briefes entnimmt, weil der Umschlag nicht durch die Sortiermaschine passt. Bought on the lightning deal so great value for money. Easy to set up and format the card (ordered separately). I did order the hardwire kit (separate item) but to be honest it wasn't needed. The wires tucked in well around the roof, there is still one wire for us from the bottom of the windscreen to the power socket, but the clips supplied hold that well. Video quality looks good, it does record talking in the car, but you can turn this off and you don't watch the video unless there is a reason to. The clock even changed itself for the end of BST. If it comes up on the lighting deal again I will buy another.

I needed a dashcam and with so much choice on the market I decided to buy this Z-Edge one.It has so many functions that help me feel protected and safe while on the road knowing it's there to back me up in case I have any issues. I think that visually most people are more likely to leave a note knowing you have a dash cam running. So I feel less stressed when parking knowing that the slightest knock and it'll give me a complete story of whats happened.The touch screen is easy to use and it's so easy to set up. The quality is fantastic and I have already posted many videos to dash cam videos on video sharing websites.It has a massive bonus included which is self adhesive cable tidys so you can have a nice clean install.The added benefit of GPS means that you have so much evidence in case of an accident that it would be hard to argue with!.So happy with this! I'd recommend you buy three!

Mit dem BGH Urteil von 2018 sind nun auch in Deutschland endlich Dashcams unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen erlaubt und können vor Gericht als Beweis zugelassen werden.Seitdem ist der Markt auch in Deutschland regelrecht explodiert und es gibt eine Vielzahl an Geräten zu kaufen. Selbst Media Markt und Co. Bieten mittlerweile Dascams an.Die Z-EDGE ist nun meine dritte Dashcam und wenn ich eins sagen kann: Wer billig kauft, kauft zweimal. Die Z-EDGE gehört definitiv zu den hochwertigeren Action Cams und ist vollgepackt mit Features. Selbst GPS ist an Board. Gerade wenn man viel fährt, ein Feature was man nicht mehr missen möchte!Im Lieferumfang ist löblicherweise alles dabei, was man benötigt. Ein 8m langes Kabel zum Anschluss der Rückkamera, ein ausreichend langes Kabel zum Anschluss der Hauptkamera und sogar noch Werkzeug zum Auslösen der Verblendungen im Auto, um die Kabel möglichst wenig sichtbar zu verlegen. Auch ein KFZ USB Adapter liegt bei, falls kein USB Port vorhanden ist.Die Verabeitungsqualität der Kamera ist sehr gut. Sie ist aus Plastik in Hochglanzoptik und passt damit perfekt zum Innenraum meines KIA’s. Alles ist solide und es fühlt sich nichts billig an. Der Saugnapf sitzt bombenfest. Da muss man sich keine Sorgen machen, dass die Kamera mal den Abgang macht.Kommen wir zur Bildqualität. Meiner Meinung nach das wichtigste bei einer Dashcam. Gerade bei den billigen Cams hat man oft das Problem, dass bei Bewegung im Bild, kaum noch die Kennzeichen entzifferbar sind – Das macht eine Dashcam völlig sinnfrei. Das Problem hat man bei der Z3D nicht. Das Bild ist wirklich sehr gut. Fast auf Action Cam Niveau! Das gleiche trifft im übrigen auch auf den Ton zu, was mich doch sehr überrascht hat. Die Schärfe ist absolut ausreichend. Bei Dunkelheit baut das Bild etwas ab, und es ist Bildrauschen sichtbar. Aber auch hier das wichtigste: Die Kennzeichen bleiben erkennbar. Das Bild ist auch unter schlechten Bedingungen wirklich gut.Wenn man auf die Rückkamera verzichten kann, sind sogar satte 1440p möglich was die Auflösung angeht. Schade, dass man nicht einen Prozessor verbaut hat, der auch zwei Bildsignale mit 1440p verarbeiten kann. Aber das hätte die Cam wohl noch mal 20-30€ teurer gemacht.Die Videodaten werden auf einer microSD Karte gespeichert, die leider nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten ist. Ich empfehle hier eine ausreichend große Speicherkarte zu kaufen. Wenn man die Dashcam gesetzeskonform nur im Loop laufen lässt, reicht sogar schon eine kleinere Speicherkarte mit 64GB.Toll ist die Auswertbarkeit der GPS Daten. Allerdings wird hier der Z-EDGE Media Player benötigt! Dann sind Fahrtverlauf und sogar Infos zur gefahrenen Geschwindigkeit nachvollziehbar! Super, wenn man gerade geblitzt wurde, und nachschauen will, wieviel man wirklich auf dem Tacho hatte und was einen erwartet 😉Die Dashcam hat einige Funktionen. Loop Aufnahmen, „Sensorgesteuerte Unfallaufzeichnung“ (Durch einen G-Sensor werden Erschütterungen festgestellt, und dann startet die Aufnahme automatisch) und eine manuelle Aufzeichnung. Für den normalen Alltag hat sich eine Loop-Aufzeichnung von 5min als praxistauglich und Datenschutzkonform erwiesen. Am besten die Bewegungserkennung ausschalten, dann nimmt die Cam auf sobald ein Zündungssignal anliegt.Es gibt zusätzlich noch einen Parkmodus. Das ist auch einer der kleinen Kritikpunkte an der Kamera. Dieser ist wirklich sehr sensibel und zeichnet selbst bei geringen Bewegungen (z.B. wenn sich Äste durch den Wind bewegen auf). Zudem muss man hier schauen, wie man die Cam anschließt. Die meisten USB-Buchsen oder Zigarettenanzünder am Auto sind mit dem Zündsignal gekoppelt. Hier sollte man dann über einen SIcherungsabzweiger im Sicherungskasten gehen und sich eine Abzweigung suchen, auf der immer Strom anliegt. Weiter Vorteil ist dann, dass die Kabel wirklich alle schön sauber und unauffällig verlegt sind.Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen ist der Akku. Der ist mit 320mAh sehr niedrig ausgelegt und dient auch primär als Puffer um Aufnahmen zu Beenden, wenn kein Strom mehr anliegt. Hier hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass ein größerer Akku verbaut wird, um auch mal 1 Stunde ohne Saft aufzeichnen zu können.Kommen wir zum abschließenden Fazit:Positiv:- Sehr gute Bild und auch Soundqualität – Auch bei Nacht noch gute Aufnahmen- Logische und leichte Bedienung- Toller GPS Sensor- Gute Verarbeitungsqualität und Saugnapf- Geniale Auswertungsfunktionen (Geschwindigkeit, Streckenverlauf Google Maps)- Toller Lieferumfang (ausreichend lange Kabel und sogar Werkzeug)- Wirklich gute Preis/LeistungNegativ:- Bildqualität des Displays könnte ein wenig besser sein- Parkmodus sehr sensibel- Eingebauter Akku ist nur als Puffer zu verstehenWer eine Dashcam mit guter Bildqualität und genialen Auswertungsfunktionen sucht, der sollte zugreifen. Ich bin jedenfalls sehr zufrieden und kann die Kamera weiterempfehlen.
