Despite being right on the edge, it feels solid with no bowing. Weather resistant: I’ve had this up for a week in rain, wind, and sub-zero temperatures, and it hasn't budged. Includes a spare: I didn't realise this came with two adhesive strips. It’s a nice touch to have a backup in case I messed up the first one or want to move it next year. Cons: Limited finish options: While the metal finish is fine, I really would have preferred a clear version to make it less obtrusive on the glass. I bought this specifically to hang a heavy (2.1kg) Christmas wreath on my front door. I was a bit skeptical because the package rates it for 2.2kg, so I am pushing the limit, but it has held steady so far. I mounted mine directly to the glass. I know the instructions usually call for alcohol wipes and specific cure times, but I honestly just wiped the glass down with a cloth and stuck it on after an hour. Even with that minimal prep, it’s survived a week of wet, windy weather and nights dropping below zero degrees without failing. If you need to hang a heavy wreath on a glass or UPVC door without drilling, this works. Just keep an eye on the weight limit... if you are under 2.2kg, you should be fine.

I used this Command outdoor hook to hang a wreath and I’m really pleased with it. The bronze effect looks neat and blends in well, and once applied properly it feels very secure. It was holding the wreath well and hasn’t moved or loosened, even being used outdoors. A great option if you want to hang a wreath without drilling or damaging the surface. Would definitely recommend and would buy again.

I’ve used this company and these products for years including this product in a different colour, but this one just did not stick. I used this hook and it held my autumn wreath for maybe an hour before falling off. Hook and wreath on the floor. Used the other strip provided and no stickiness at all. Obviously just a bad batch.

I buy these through Amazon because you can't beat the price and it's simpler than searching multiple stores for these particular outdoor strips/hooks. I hang different sized holiday wreaths year round on my wooden front door. I do a quick wipe to make sure the area I'm about to hang the hook on my door isn't dusty and follow the directions to wait a certain amount of time before hanging anything from it. Works like a charm! The wreaths I hang vary from smaller - less than a pound to approx. 3-4lb wreaths and these adhesives last for months at a time before I have to replace. The hook itself I received in this order was bronze in color, but plastic in feel and appearance. Just as an FYI because the previous hook I purchased in store cost more but was actual metal. They both have the same promise of being able to hold "up to 5lb" on the packaging so it didn't make a difference to me. I love Command products for no damage hanging!
