Great replacement thermostat
Easy to set up for my vivarium. I'm now have less wires lying about and have more accurate control of the heat mat. Great replacement for Microclimate thermostat. Wish I'd upgraded years ago.

Essential piece of kit
Made a huge difference to my ball phyton towards her eating habits, couldnt think of why she had stopped eating but after regulating her temperature shes never refused a meal.

Unfortunately not fit for purpose (two sockets controlled by different functions)
Reasonable product that seems accurate on first test with long leads so that it can reach from one end of a vivarium to another. Good for owners of reptiles or fish where the temperature needs to be consistent 24/7 but the lights need to be turned off at night.I did send this product back unfortunately (but cannot fault the seller for this as they refunded me quickly without any issues!) but unfortunately it was not fit for the purpose I purchased it for, unlike what the description had me believe.Although it has two sockets, only one of which you can control to have an on/off timer and the other purely controls the temperature at a set rate. It is pretty much as useful as the NICREW ones I have gotten in the past (and paired with on and off timers) but with a fancy screen.This rendered the product useless for me as I needed the thermostat to have the heat on at day and night but decrease it to a reasonable temperature (of which I thought I could manage by either having two seperate lamps controlled by the two sockets OR have the thermostat decrease the temperature at night and control lights separately. Both of which I could not do).I would advise not purchasing UNLESS you need the heat to be a constant temperature 24/7 and just want it to turn lights off at night. I have instead recently purchased, and would also recommend buying, a Microclimate Evo Connected II recently which does allow me to change the temperature at the night as well as turn on and off lighting. It is unfortunately much more expensive than the Habistat but also seems more accurate.It is slightly frustrating that it does not clearly state in the description that the two sockets serve completely different functions though as I had already purchased a separate bulb and guard to accompany this thermostat and have now found that I do not need them for the Microclimate.

Great product. My be a little smaller on the display unit but still ok. The alarm can be a bit annoying but a very good feacher

Not worth the £50
Was good for just over a month and then just stopped heating my bulb so It broke in just over a month
