Avantree 417

I just received this product next day delivery ( which was good ) . I made the mistake of pairing my Avantree AS90C headphones to a cheap Chinese designed blue tooth transmitter to attach primarily for my TV . It connected ok but the performance was poor . I am blown away by the change of connecting the phones to this TC417 . It is an unobtrusive 6cm square box. Maybe it would be nice to have screen confirming what is connected to it but really the LEDS confirm the connection . I can only think it's because this transmitter has the correct CODEC to optimise the headphones the sound is great now . Of course it is portable and I can also plug into other TVs and my desktop PC none of which support Blue Tooth . Just a matter of using a 3.5mm connectors supplied . Also cables are supplied to connect an amplifier for example to use the TC417 as a receiver too . I had one already but it can't harm . This allows you to connect an analogue amp and send blue tooth files say from your phone or MP3 player if these still exist . For £30 it is a great investment and I should have realised the cheap is as cheap does of the " Elegant " was a false saving . very minimalist but that's what I wanted . It is a more recent Blue Tooth edition 5 the headphones are 4 series but work fine as it is backwards compatible . series 5 headphones maybe even better . Hopefully the TC417 will last , the only thing I don't like is the mini USB connection for the charger . I would prefer a USB - C connection . this is not the end of the world but unusual in 2024 . Rather than charging on a computer you can use low amp phone charger . I happen to have a Samsung Tablet charger . It is not advised to charge it on the TV while connected to headphones as it will cause feedback and noise on the transmitter .

A good little unit. The only fault, which is the same as with most of these type of units, there is a slight delay in the signal which produces a very slight out of sync sound. But this is minor. Apart from this it is a very good unit

This item is great. Can't believe a modern TV hasn't got Bluetooth as an option. This device solved my problem. It's easy to set up and works great with my Bluetooth headphones. No sound or latency problems. It's so small you can not see it amongst my other electronic equipment. Has a great range too. Would recommend seller and product.

Works well. I bought this to use wireless headphones on my tv as I need the volume louder than my wife does. My tv has red and white audio output sockets corresponding to the audio cable/plugs supplied with the unit. Side switches in AUX and TX for this mode. Red led goes out when charged. I had a problem setting up pairing until I realised that the whole of the top plate forms a 3-way push control, ie for pairing you press the word “pair” and not the bottom of the central button. When I had a problem pairing the headphones and the unit, I solved that by reference to Item 7 of instructors, ‘Clear pairing history’ and using ‘Pair’ button as above. I’ve watched tv and had noticed no problems with latency. My inexpensive wireless headphones have volume control buttons. I can have the tv at zero volume through its own speaker and I can set the volume I need in the headphones so only I hear the tv. In other words, the tv volume and headphone volume work independently.

Either the audio delay needed to be negative (not possible), or the delay adjustment in smaller steps, as none of the available TV settings achieved correct lip-sync. I think this is a "feature" of the Samsung Q80 TV series, as there are 40 pages of forum posts relating to the issue on the Samsung forum. I will work around it by purchasing a similar Bluetooth receiver model with analogue audio, and use the AUX input on my hi-fi system for the TV sound. Unit was easy to set up, sound quality was good, shame it didn't work with my TV.

Easy connection to device and Bluetooth. Can be turned from transmitter to receiver…Brilliant little box!

Worked great for about 9 months then just died. Lights up but won't connect. Very dissapointed.

Very easy to set up using optical cable Works fine plugged into TV USB for power No Distortion Easy connection to Sound Blaster JAM V2 On-Ear Lightweight Bluetooth 5.0 No latency or lip-sync issues. Slight annoyance that even though the power to it from the TV is present permanently, it switches itself off after a short time when disconnected from headphones and has to be switched on every evening. It's just a niggle, otherwise great.

I got this so I could watch television using my Bluetooth headphones. The volume could be a little louder but it works just fine. The audio is crackly when I try and charge it while in use, but the battery life is actually pretty good anyway. I get about three days use before I need to recharge it. I’m happy with the purchase. It does exactly what I wanted and is easy to use.

J'ai acheter ce boitier sur les conseils de mes enfants. Et je ne suis pas déçu !! L'installation est très simple . Mais il faut lire attentivement la notice pour bien régler les commutateurs en fonction de ce que l'on attend de l'appareil. Réception ou transmission... La seule chose qui est un peu regrettable, c'est qu'on doit le reconnecter à chaque mise en route. Mais cela prend 5 secondes. Il manque aussi un chargeur sur lequel on puisse le laissé branché en permanence. pour ma part, j'ai acheté un câble plus long et un petit chargeur USB 5 Volt 1 Ampère. que j'ai branché juste à côté. Pour éviter de tout bouger à chaque fois.

È il terzo prodotto Avantree che ho comprato dopo l'Orbit e l'Oasis B che uso come trasmettitori. Questo lo uso come ricevitore essendo leggero e ci posso collegare qualsiasi cuffia cablata e controllare il volume. Grazie al codec APTX LL il suono è sincronizzato all'altoparlante del televisore. Gli auricolari KZ ZST nella foto si comportano bene anche se ascolto la musica e la qualità del suono è soddisfacente anche se il segnale del trasmettitore è connesso all'uscita ottica del televisore e il TC417 non può regolare i toni. Molto utile la possibilità di collegarlo ad un alimentatore e lasciarlo fisso al televisore o in ingresso ad un amplificatore. Lo ricarico ogni tre giorni circa e la batteria non dura le 20 ore dichiarate ma più o meno 12 ore.

Das TC417 lässt sich einwandfrei mit Amazon Alexa kuppeln (per Alexa App). Ich nutze es im RX-Modus, also dem Empfangsmodus und habe es an einen Bose Lautsprecher über den Klinkenstecker verbunden. Die Tonqualität dabei ist einwandfrei. Eine ausführliche Bedienungsanleitung in Deutsch liegt bei. Das Gerät lässt sich auch während des Ladevorgangs betreiben. Schaltet man es aus und wieder ein verbindet es sich automatisch wieder mit dem zuletzt verbunden Gerät, was sehr praktisch ist. Update 05.03. Ich habe nun auch den Transmittermodus (TX) getestet: Das Gerät hat sich problemlos mit dem Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter verbunden. Auch hier ist die Qualität einwandfrei, ich kann daher das Gerät bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.
