It contains retinol palmitate (vitamin A), liquid paraffin, light liquid paraffin, wool fat and white soft vaseline. Parrafin is obtained by distillation from petroleum or shale and used in candles, cosmetics, polishes, and sealing and waterproofing compounds. **Q: What percent wool fat/ lanolin?** A: When I first started using this, the ingredients were on the tube. I looked at the tube just now and there are no ingredients listed on the tube. They are on the leaflet. The leaflet and the internet are listed as: 250 I.U./g Retinol Palmitate (Vitamin A), Liquid Paraffin, Light Liquid Paraffin, Wool Fat and White Soft Paraffin. The percent is not listed either place. This is a very good product, however I have found a combination that works even better. I use this in the morning (if I am not going out) and in the evening. I have better results if I put gel drops in both eyes about 1 hour after the Hycosan. My eyes are severely dry and sometimes I will use gel drops 3 or 4 times a day. Eyes feel great after that. All these ointments are way too expensive… but we do what we must. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tried it and I’m satisfied… *by K***S on October 13, 2022* I don’t like the flimsy manufacturers seal on the box, it should be placed around the opening of the tube. However, I went against my better judgment and tried it, and boy I’m glad I did. It made my eyes feel smooth and hydrated and completely resolve the itchy, burning sensation I was experiencing prior.
