These tile drill bits are excellent. They also work well on brick in a regular combi drill and are extremely sharp and hard wearing!

Used to drill into some kitchen tiles. I followed all the advice (slow speed, keep drill bit cool) and....it worked brilliantly ! No problem drilling through the tiles and no damage to the tiles. Drill bit took a bit of wear from drilling just 4 holes so not sure how durable they are (hence only 4 stars). Nevertheless, the drill bits did what I needed. Would use again.

Having graduated from the Bodgit & Leggit school of DIY I have never attempted to drill ceramic tiles before so approaching my 80th year I thought it time to learn a new skill, rather than feather my local handyman’s nest, Using these Sabrecut drill bits (& watching the obligatory YouTube videos) I surprised myself, and the wife, on what a professional job can be achieved using the correct tools. SabreCut SCTBA5 Multi-Material Tile Drill Bits certainly do the job at an affordable price.

I needed to put 6 holes into bathroom and cloakroom tiles to fit towel rails and various holders. There are many solutions on YouTube but I went for these drill bits and the results were excellent. No need to use tape or washers, the drill bit bites on both gloss and matt tiles without sliding and it is simple to drill clean holes with no breakout and no tile cracking. Needed some larger holes for some fixings so used the smallest bit followed by the correct size for the fixing and again the results are faultless. Highly recommended and terrific value.

Firstly I'm a tradesperson running my own business. Secondly I have use sabre product many times before without problem. So when it came to these drill bits that stated they were for ceramic and porcelain tiles, I thought win, win. I double checked the product information and the spec, nothing highlighted the product couldn't do what the listing suggested. So made my purchase and when it came to using them on a client project using porcelain tiles, I thought I have just the tool to drill that. Oh how wrong I was! The fisrt drill I tried despite attempting to keep it cool with water fell apart. The tip separated from the rest of the bit. The second just went into the tile approximately 2-3mm became blunt and useless. I couldn't believe that sabre had made such a bad job of this product. That's because they hadn't. On the appalling performance of the product I began reading the small print on the sabre drill box. No where on their packaging does it say they can be used on porcelain. In fact it specifically states the ceramic is their limit. So I have not given the one star to the product, but the person/company whom listed this information incorrectly. It even specifies quite clearly on the sabre website the limitations of this product, but we rely on sellers to ensure the information they are publishing is correct. As not doing so not only damages, my business, the sabres reputation, but the sellers and Amazon's. This may be an over reaction but has left me feeling a light reluctant to purchase equipment and materials for my business from Amazon.

It has the hexagon bit grip which is perfect for none slipping Used two sizes to widen enough to raw plug screw into...cuts like butter..but take your time and Ytube have instructional videos which I followed Perfect for tiles as mine are roughly 30mm thick and it went through without cracking
