My boy was full of ideas for his own world after reading each page, couldn't stop talking about them so I have to wait for quite a bit to be able to continue reading the next page. It is a small book with very few words but it took us two nights to finish reading it and many evenings for the excited little boy to finish drawing his own world!!! absolutely fantastic! I studies environmental science communication but often struggle to engage my own young child with the environment around us. This lovely book gently leads children to look at the world around them for inspiration. My little boy has since become interested on houses, people and things happening in our community and in general become much more aware of the world he lives in. highly recommended! One of the best picture books I've come across
One of the best picture books I've come across. Both me and my 5 yr old boy loved it. My boy was full of ideas for his own world after reading each page, couldn't stop talking about them so I have to wait for quite a bit to be able to continue reading the next page. It is a small book with very few words but it took us two nights to finish reading it and many evenings for the excited little boy to finish drawing his own world!!! absolutely fantastic! Fantastic book let down by the publisher
I love Laura Carlin. She rules - her book is brilliant; I've been eagerly awaiting it. But Phaidon- they've seriously f***ed me off. A huge price sticker on the back that rips the surface of the dust jacket however carefully it's removed - and American spellings throughout, which I find really unacceptable in a picture book.

Mi piace. Fa ridere e i disegni sono molto belli, alcune scelte grafiche a parte. Perché aggiungere le ombre in digitale?? Libro che molti bambini (e non) dovrebbero possedere. Spedizione veloce.

Part picture book and part how-to draw creatively, you will definitely want to be part of Laura Carlin's world. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Book
I love this book, Carlin's visuals are so delightful, and I love how encouraging it is. I'm excited to go through it with my son, and do some of the "exercises" (really just questions to explore in a visual way.) Highly recommended!
