Prevue Hendryx F050 Pet Products Wrought Iron Flight Cage, X-Large, Hammertone Black

I bought this cage for my 4 budgies as they've outgrown their old cage. This cage is perfect for my birds as it is very big and there's plenty of room for them to fly in it. I'm hoping to get another couple of budgies to go in there as it's very roomy and will accommodate a couple more. There's plenty of doors on the cage and the bottom tray is easy to remove and clean. The added advantage of the wheels is great for when I'm hoovering as I can move it easily. There's also a shelf along the bottom of the cage to store food, millet and other accessories. Included in the cage is perches and dishes. I highly recommend this purchase.

Pannals dented, 3 screws unusable, 2 due to having no hole on the top for Allen wrench and 1 due to Allen wrench being too small to turn it.

Saw this cage mentioned alot in bird groups. People were always postive so i decided to give it a shot and bought the XL for my two budgies. Assembling the cage was difficult, but i didn't mind it taking a long time doing it at all. I knew it wasn't easy to assemble when i bought it already so it wasn't unexpected. When i unpacked the cage i noticed a giant tear in the bottom tray. It was broken. It was already a pretty bad start but i decided to ignore it and i taped it back together. I was happy with the cage the first few months. It was big and my birds loved the space... but it didn't last long until i noticed rust forming. 7 months after i bought the cage i already saw a few rusty spots. I was NOT happy. It was on the top part of the cage where no water could reach it. I also always dried my cage after cleaning. 2 months later i noticed even more rust. On top of that, one of the bars has broken off. I don't think the cage is sturdy at all. The bars bend really quickly. Whenever i remove a perch you can see where it has been located because the whole area is bend there. The cage cant handle big perches such as medium sized Java perches because it weights too much for it and the cage bars bend or break off. I really wanted to like it, and the first few months i absolutely loved it. But now, about 11 months after my purchase, I already have to look for a new cage. Not worth the money, especially since i paid ALOT extra and prevue only has a 90 day warranty.

Excellent product and service

I have 3 of these cages now. One for a conure, second for a cockatiel, third for 4 budgies. Bar spacing is great for all of my birds. I'm a person that appreciatea uniformity & they look good being they are all along the same wall. I put them all together myself with no problems. Love the multiple doors as it makes toy hanging & cleaning much easier. Excellent in size & perfect storage shelf beneath the cage. I also have birdie playgrounds & perches on top of the cage, & more perches on the outside for free time. Great value for the money & I wouldn't hesitate in adding another of the flock grows. Unlike other reviews, none of my cages came with any damages, rust or any other issues. Take you time assembling & make sure you have the right parts facing the right direction.

This things great. Spring loaded side doors. I lock them with pipe cleaner craft things. My cockatiel won't figure them out. Theres tons of space. My cockatiel must have hated his last cage with a passion I thought it was big but the reaction of my bird in this new cage was hilarious to see. He was chirping all evening and making brand new noises I've never heard before. He was flapping his wings and excitedly chirping and flying from perch to perch. Theres tons of room for him now. Was easy to put together by myself 30~min max Was easy to get access to anywhere in the cage with all the doors. 4 feeding water combo bowls provided, 2 were broken but I'm not getting them replaced cause I never needed 4. Cage is sturdy, its clean and nice. Wheels work great. All food and treats now sit on the bottom cage piece for miscellaneous stuff. I'd only ever get a cage like this of this size for a bird the size of a cockatiel and up from here on out. My pets demeanor improved within an hour of realizing his new home.

Perfect size for small birds. Easy to assemble

La jaula está de muy buen tamaño. Mi perico o loro -no sé bien qué sea- está muy a gusto, hasta pude ponerle una tina con agua por si quiere bañarse. La instalación no es muy sencilla porque el instructivo es muy malo, pero tampoco fue muy complicado armarla.
