If you are looking for a nice, inexpensive and simple silverware holder then this product is for you. It does what it is suppose to do. It gets a little crowded if you want to put a lot of utensils in it at a time. I just refilled it as I needed to. To keep the utensils from sliding out of the sides; they have added a bar about a 1/4 of an inch above the base.

I bought this for the office. I take care of a lot of lunch meetings and this was a nice way to have utensils and napkins handy. Rather inexpensive, but doesn't look cheap and holds more than 20 forks in a compartment. (no problem with spoon and knifes).

I usually purchase after very complete product scrutiny. I failed on this one and this is the lowest score I have ever submitted to Amazon. WHY? Because I wanted a utensil holder for a weekly club breakfast potluck. We use all heavy duty plastic flatware, sized about the same as the metal flatware in your own kitchen, so I am guessing you would have the same problem I did with this basket: The utensils kept falling out at the base. There is not enough enclosure to contain the flatware and the holder became more of a nuisance than it was worth. I took it out of service after finding a plexiglass utensil holder of similar size that has fully enclosed sides. It works; this one does not. Not worth any more discussion.

Nice looking but utensils fall "through the cracks."

This is a good looking item, but somewhat impratical. It comfortably holds service for about 10 to 15 - I needed it for more than that. It has open sides, so the utensils have the tendency to slip through. The fork tines get stuck on the mesh bottom.

The previous reviews had me worried that this wouldn't be a good purchase but it gets the job done! We entertain large numbers of guests at our home frequently and this really organizes the napkins and utensils just like we needed - Great for the price!

I use this to organize my cooking utensils...way better than one of those round crock things.

I would not recommend this product. All the flatware keeps coming out and it really defeats the purpose of buying this holder!. While you want it to look more organized, this holder makes it ugly with all the spoons and forks protuding from the sides. I didnt get a chance to return it and used it once by placing small cups at the bottom(inside the holder) to hold all the cutlery in place.I would not recommend this product and would rather spend a few dollars more and buy a sturdy one
