1865 3 Cent Nickel Civil War Piece 1st Year Issue of Old Antique US Coin - Lovely!

Purchased this coin because I wanted a few more coins from the time of the Civil War. The coin I received was in excellent condition. All of the legends at the edge of the coin and the Roman numeral "III" were sharp and clear. No damage, and the coin had a nice, medium grey patina to it. Very nice coin, especially considering its age! This is a nice bargain coin, since for very little money you can own a piece of American history right in your hands. Now I want to buy some of the other dates for this coin, which was minted from 1865 through 1889.

the three cent nickel is in great shape. you can read the year,the III and corn on back are clear you can see every detail like its a new coin even though its from 1865. my coin ron chase the national treasure sent me is in better shape than the pic used as an example he even sent me a bonus coin which was unexpected but quite nice. i would highly recomend geting coins from him for now on. thanks again.
