Unsure of whether the phone was not charging due to a defect in the port on the phone or the original charger dying.Have used it to recharge the phone twice now.Not only cheap enough to check if original charger had died, but also replace it!Build quality feels cheap, but the one received was in perfect condition and works well.Well worth the purchase in my case.
