EXCELLENT BUY
very well built and feels good quality, instructions for charger are a bit vague but when you plug it in red means its charging green means its fully charged. used on my BMW320 and topped up 4 tyres no problem.Digital gauge easy to set and accurate according to tyre pressure indicator in car.Not at all noisy. So convenient Also cuts out at preset pressure as described. Very good value for money

Very fast to pump up tyres.
The only reason I bought this was because the cigarette lighter in my car is no longer working so I cannot use my much larger 12v plug in unit. I was very wary of how weak and slow this battery operated compressor would be but it is actually very impressive and is much faster to pump up my tyre than my halfords12v unit!! It is also very convenient with not having to stretch wires all around the car to reach every tyre. For me it is much easier to use and seems very well made and sturdy. It also comes with a built in light (very useful if using in the dark). The only downside if any is that it is quite noisy, but that's just being picky really. Would highly recommend.

Good performance, questionable form factor
This performs well, inflating tyres quickly. Inflating a car tyre from a low pressure warning in the car's creen to the correct pressure takes about 30 seconds per tyre. The digital gauge allows you to set the pressure you want and the inflator stops automatically when that pressure is exceeded, this allows the pressure to be about right when you disconnect the hose, alowing for a little air to be released while you unscrew it. I found that the unit won't work until you wake it and set a pressure, which was easy enough to get my head round. The only thing I don't really like is the "drill" shape, as holding the inflator and having to squeeze the trigger constantly while it inflates and having the hose poke out the front is a bit strange. It kind of works if the inflator is at the bottom of the wheel, but that's rare and anything else means you have to hold the unit in a funny way to get the inflator in the right position and keep the trigger squeezed.

Very happy with item. Thank you.
Wish had bought one of these years ago! Got fed up with having to wait to use the pump at local garage, and then sometimes it was not working. So now can check tyre pressures more frequently and at home.Update October 2021. The tyre inflator is still working well more than a year later. However, the end where it attaches to the tyre valve was broken somehow. I contacted the seller, Allied, to ask if it was possible to get a replacement hose part. They responded very quickly and gave a link for the part. So full marks for customer service. Thank you!

Compact and lightweight
Very useful gadget saves having to plug into car 12V socket although a 12V cigarette lighter style connector is supplied as well. The gauge is accurate and can be set to cut off at desired pressure to avoid over inflating. I used it straight from the box to inflate tyres on 2 cars and a bike before it needed charging. Easier to use with a short extension hose with a quick release rather than unscrewing the supplied hose.

Very Disappointing
I had high hopes for the Tooltronix Digital Tyre Inflator, my previous tyre inflater was a very cheap device, but it did the job for three years before it gave up. I decided to spend more money this time on something that looked more substantial and better made, and chose the Tooltronix Inflator. On first use, the inflator seemed a little slower than my old inflator, and after it inflated a tyre from 18 psi to 37psi, the battery gave out. I was not concerned about this as I don't expect to get a full charge from such a device on the first go.I've used the inflator twice since, and have not managed to top up more than three tyres without having to charge the battery. From a design perspective, it feels well made for the price, but it lacks a battery meter and the locking mechanism for the trigger is poorly designed and clumsy. If you only need to put a little air into your tyres occasionally, it will do a job, but look elsewhere if you have a couple of cars with porous wheels.

Now useless
I bought this in Feb 2020 to inflate the tyres on my scooter. However the nozzle that screws onto the tyre allows air to escape when disconnecting. Therefore I always over inflated to allow for this. The other day the other end of the tube disintegrated so cannot re attach to the compressor unit.Only used once a month and now useless.
