Great hold for thin hair and amazing smell This is a great product to apply on thin hair. The smell is amazing and clean.

My husband loves this styling clay. He still has a concern, as this produces a white flake, which is why the 4 stars. There is no smell which likes a lot. If it continues to produce the white flakes, he will be returning it. It is not greasy and dries quickly. It is a bit pricey.

This is a versatile clay that holds in place fine hair and gives it a slightly brilliant appearance. I'm pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to apply and provides an all-day confidence for a hair style. If its windy, then a quick comb or brush will return the style to where it belongs. A little goes a long way to do the job; just start out with a little amount and gently work it until you achieve a desired level of hold. This product has a remarkable similarity to the Krieger + Söhne Man Series Styling Clay. The styling products appear almost identical, the containers look like twins, and the fragrance and performance are comparable as well. If you liked the K&S clay product, then you should enjoy this product even more.

Pro’s: smells good, light hold and easy to apply and wash out. Con’s: the consistency in the picture is not what you are getting. It looks and feels like a lotion. No firm gritty ‘clay’ like look that is in the description. Also is not really matte. No sure if this is a watered down version. Does work ok and smell good so I will continue to use it. And I do like there soft putty also.

I've been using this stuff for years and it's the most versatile hairstyling product I've come across. I use it when my hair is medium-ish, and I work it through with my fingers to style. Holds well, isn't greasy, and smells great!

The gentleman who sells this has a website called: AaronMarino.com. He is a male fashion consultant and has incredible talent in dressing men and making them look pulled together. When he announced on his website that he was going to sell this product I could not wait!!!~ Obviously, I checked out his website first then, I ran over to Amazon.com. Of course, Amazon has it and I ordered it from them. This product is such high quality, you need just the minimal amount of product [the size of a dime] to cover your whole head. Spread the product out into the palm of your hand and let your hand warm the product up. I just use my fingers and piece it out on my hair to give it some kind of shape. Aaron Marino [sp?] who collaboarated with some other gentleman to formulate this has put their trademark "Donkey" on the inside of the lid of the jar. It is really cute. And, why the Donkey on the inside of the jar has better looking hair than I do is beyond me!!!~ Mr. Marino recommends that you start with the CLAY first, then progress to the other products in the line. I have used the whole jar of CLAY and now I am going to try the POMADE. The smell is amazing and the consistency is water-soluable and very light. Trust me, you are going to love this stuff!!!~ It washes right out at the end of the day.

Minimal, but pleasant fragrance. Easy to apply and lasted quite a while as I used daily. However, I would say that the hold is not Medium, but Light, and found myself constantly having to re-adjust may hair. Also, I was told by others that my hair looked greasy, but it is supposed to have a low shine. Very expensive and there is much cheaper options on the market with better results in my opinion.
