These speakers are absolutely fantastic. The bass response is solid and clear. No distortion. I have them in my Ford lightning running off a JP 243AB. Next time I'll get a better amp but they still thump

Basic factory stereo - replaced the front door and A pillar tweeters. Very noticeable improvement on clarity, and range. Good bass improvement. Quality sound. I’m pleased.

Best speakers on the market for the money. Loud, clear sound, no distortion, and the bass is great, highs and lows. I added a 8 inch sub with and Alpine amp to take the stress off the speakers, and it’s perfect. Sun fits perfectly behind my back seat of my Tacoma truck.

I have upgraded many stereo systems in vehicles over the years, always looking for better sound. My Tesla M3 was the first vehicle I ever had that didn't need a single improvement. That said, I just picked up a '24 Ford f150 Lightning. It has the Bang & Olufsen 8 speaker system which you would think would sound amazing with a name like that, but it doesn't. I did some research and these Alpine speakers were most frequently recommended on forums and YouTube. I figured I would pick up a pair of components for the front and see how they sound. All I can say is WOW. I changed out just the mid-woofers in the door in about 45 minutes but ran out of time before thanksgiving dinner and proceeded to drive about two hours to my sons house without changing the a-pillar tweeters. I was absolutely blown away! I have swapped out many factory speakers over the years and have never experienced such a transformation in sound. The lows were crisp and accurate, mids were no longer muffled and distorted, and somehow it seems like even the highs were improved. I am genuinely impressed and will be getting the 6.5" set for the rear doors soon. I don't even know how changing a two out of eight speakers could make such a difference. I heard subtle parts of music I am very familiar with that I never heard before. I can't say enough.

These have decently detailed and bright highs, but nothing low at all. I returned them and got Infinity Reference 6x9 components and they’re WAY better for a lower price.

For the price and quality these speakers are fantastic. It enabled me to upgrade my factory sound system on my Tacoma. They are superb quality and provide wonderful balance of sound. I highly recommend buying an amplifier if you decide to upgrade speakers as it really makes a difference in sound quality! These speakers on their own are fantastic either way! Very satisfied.

Alpine has their tweeter domes dialed in perfectly for my ears. I've used these speakers in 3 different cars now and always smile when I fire them up the first time. The highs are smooth, detailed, clear, and don't overwhelm the rest of the sound. The other frequencies are perfect also, but the treble is where your detail and imaging mostly come from and they are crucial to get right. I don't play music loud so I don't know about their power handling if you like blowing your vehicle windows out, but as loud as I can stand them they sound good.
