Tea tastes good. And I think it has a energizing effect. The price for this one was the best too.

Nice flavor, similar to semi-fermented green tea. I usually refill two times or until the tea is too weak. However, I think there is only maybe 10% of them are truly 7-leaves. I made two cups of tea and looked carefully. I can only find five 7-leaves from these two cups of tea. I think there are still some 7-leaves but just very difficult to find. (Two shown in the first picture, three shown in the second picture.)

Not sure what happened, but this is very weak and sweet. it is like second-hand with a sweetener added. This is not the same as what we can get in China, which is super bitter and strong. One brew test and tossed bag into the trash.

Most Gynostemma products can have a strong, bitter taste but this one has a nice and smooth taste which makes a great tea. Definitely a quality product that is perfect for my herb supplementation. I will purchase again.

The leaves were dark and some seemed damaged or withered. Lots of grit. Not sure what that says about quality. Not a vibrant green like another one i bought. They wouldn't really unfurl after brewing so i could see if they were 5 leave or seven leaf. Another brand does this easily.

Great value and clearly authentic. Despite what other reviewers say, the plant is supposed to have 5 leaves and the stems contain the same beneficial contents as the leaves.
