I recently tried L’Oréal Paris Excellence Crème and, honestly, I’m pretty pleased. First off — the color is exactly what I was hoping for: rich, even, and it actually covers my greys without leaving patches. I’m picking up a shade that blends perfectly with what I already have, and I can confidently say this time around I don’t look like I’m three weeks past root touch-up day. Surprisingly, despite it being a permanent box dye, my hair didn’t feel like it got “fried.” Usually after these kinds of all-in-one kits I feel like I just stripped my hair of moisture and texture, but this time I felt… normal. The strands still felt soft, manageable, no weird crunchy or straw-like finish. It didn’t feel like the hair dye torched my scalp or left me irritated — a big win in my book. This has always been my favorite and go-to brand of do it myself hair color. It’s easy to use, dependable, affordable and gives good gray coverage :) First picture is about 10 days after most recent coloring. 2nd pic is sometime prior to coloring (it had most likely been 6 mos since I had colored - just got busy Yikes lol). I currently use this particular color because it’s closest to my natural color (I think anyway lol), and right now I’m most interested in covering gray hair. In the past I have used some other shades within this same color level (6) from this brand. While at other times I varied in color levels. I once went darker (level 5) and other times lighter - even much much lighter (level 9 or 10 in my 30s) and spent many years using a level 8G (in my 40’s). If you like to have blond hair, this is a very good option. I just used this L'Oreal hair color & it is really Excellent. I have Never used a hair color this gentle without damage to my hair & covered all my white hair as well. I love this Brand & will be ordering again.The price is Amazing too. In CVS the same thing is $14 & here it is $5.99 I recommend this Brand in any other color as well. Also I see NO damage to my hair. 1st color that completely covered my white hair:)

I am really happy with L’Oreal Paris Excellence Crème hair dye. The color covers gray hair completely and lasts a long time. After using it, my hair looks darker, healthier, and honestly makes me look younger. What I liked most is how clean the application is.
