Dobyns Rods Champion XP Series

I've fished with them all and finding the right action in a rod for a particular technique is difficult at best. For me, being able to skip cast certain baits with pin point accuracy is all dependent on the tip action of the rod. The 735 has a nice soft tip that gives me complete control when skipping lures. The soft tip is followed with plenty of backbone to winch bigguns out of heavy cover, and the split grip handle is short enough to stay out of the way when you're rolling those sidearm, underhand, and backhand casts.

Fantastic rod! There's a reason why everyone is switching over the Dobyns. They're on the higher end of bass poles but are well worth the money. Will slowly be ordering more.
