Reel Performed at a high level, drag system is excellent.

This is not the cheapest fly reel out there and many would argue it is totally unnecessary, however the drag, look, durability and ease of use on the water sell me on this being one of two reels I bought of this type. I have one for floating and another for sinking.. do not wish to swap reels on the water.. would rather be fishing.. :)

This reel is unbelievably fine, from the craftsmanship to the joy I feel when the drag starts to rip, this reel hasn’t missed one beat while fighting a fish. This is going to be my go to reel for all trout from this point forward. It balances extremely well on the ultra lightweight rods of the day, and is such a pleasure to cast with. The drag is flawless, stronger than old models and wonderfully smooth. Absolutely one of the best fly reels I have ever owned.
