Sharp, clean cuts on A surface
It came quite sharp, and cuts very well on the A surface ('up' side on table saw), the bottom has some chip out, which may be helped with a better zero clearance plate. But, this is listed as one side only, and it meets that expectation very well. I'm pleased with the results (but only have about 100+ ft of cutting with it) - enough so that I would purchase this again, it's quite a bit better cheaper blades I've purchased. UPDATE: I've used this for a few hundred feet of cutting now (~500' in melamine/particle board). It cuts now like it did when new. Very pleased with the cut quality and durability. When dull, I will replace it with this blade.

Great Blade for Woodworking
These blades are the best. I use them in my table saw, chop saw & circular saw. They cut through both hardwood and softwood without issue. Once they become dull you can resharpen and they’re like brand new. I use a local company that sharpens them.

Excellent blade for plywood
I used this blade in my table saw to build my kitchen cabinets. It is a fantastic blade for plywood. Perfect cuts, no tear out. Used it for to break down and dimention 18 sheets of 3/4" Cherry ply and 10 sheets of 1/4" cherry ply. Still a lot of life left in the blade. Well worth the cost.

Production workhorse!
I rip saw and crosscut 5/4” hardwood most of the time on a 3hp cabinet saw. Hands down, these are the best blades. Went the route of cheap blades and finally learned my lesson. If you cut an occasional board you can get by with a $15-25 blade. If you spend all day in the shop, spend the money, you won’t regret it.

Smoothest cut of them all
I bought this blade a few days ago. I'm making furniture grade projects out of oak and birch plywood. Thickness is 1/8 inch to 3/4 inch plywood. I need a blade that will not leave tear outs or splinters. The freud LU79R010 does the best cutting job of any blade I've ever had. I have Milwaukee, Irwin, Black and Decker, Disston and other freud saw blades. This freud LU79R cuts smoother by far than any other I've tried. I tried the blade on some 2x4 and 2x6 pine. It cross cut very smooth and same on rip but was slower. The reason for the smooth cut and edge is obvious once you handle the blade and discover how sharp the cutting points are on each piece of carbide. SHARP! The sharp points angle out from the surface of the blade body. The combination of thin blade and kerf with the ultra sharp carbide teeth make it easy to push wood stock through the blade while cutting. The blade stays aligned better than my other blades. It leaves no burn marks. I can't account for that. If you're in need of the smoothest cutting blade buy this one.

Cuts like hot steel through butter
So far this blade is fantastic. We will see how long it holds up. Will update if I run into any issues.

Freud Value
Freud blades are my go-to table and circular saw blades. They have always performed well for me and until they don't, I will stick with them. I purchased this model for cutting Baltic birch plywood. The veneers are getting so thin that there is always tear out on a rip. I am hoping this blade will eliminate the issue. I did create a zero-clearance table saw insert. They also resharpen well.

My track saw makes great cuts - this is even better - total game changer. Flawless cuts in melamine, maple ply and Baltic. May have to get the 12" for my Bosch chop saw now.
