The Dapper House Set of 6 Elementary Red Leatherboard Placemats and 6 Coasters - Made in UK

We purchased these for our Family Christmas table to set off the white tableware against a white tablecloth, having spent hours searching for something that would also match the red in the tartan napkins we had already purchased and a set of 6 (most seem to be in sets of 4). When they arrived we were pleased with the colour match and the quality of these mats. They are very easy to clean just wipe off with a damp cloth, they are very durable and look fantastic (yes we have used them just to see how everything looks before the big day) as far as value for money they are great where else could you get a set of 6 leather placemats and coasters for the money. They look and feel far more expensive than they were. Really happy with these they have ticked all of the the boxes.

The under side marks the table cloths with black dye not value for money?

Although these mats are good quality and well made and durable they carry a permanent smell not unlike that of mould or damp. The smell is as strong as when we first got them.Therefore there use as placemats is impossible because of this off putting odour.

Good quality and neat mats in a lovely rich colour. Stops hot plates and mugs marking the table and wipe clean easily. Have an initial strong leather smell but that soon subsides.
