This is a wonderful book for Coverstitch machine owners! Very clear and concise. It gives so much more information than my owners manual.

Great book. Simple explanations with photos, troubleshooting instructions, and general overview of what Coverstitch machines can do. Details about threading, types of thread and needles to use for your machine. Good book for someone like me who has a serger and sewing machine, but is new to the Coverstitch machine.

This book is a great resource for coverstitch users. It has lots of information and good visuals. It has helped with learning to use this machine and understanding how it works.

Johanna Lundstrom did an excellent job of presenting details essential to quality coverstitching, which makes this an excellent source for beginning coverstitch sewers, as well as for those who have begun using a coverstitch machine, but want their projects to look more like ready to wear. Johanna includes interviews from professional coverstitch educators, as well as coverstitch machine operators with years of experience in the manufacturing clothing industry, and includes details about a variety of coverstitch machines, including the special presser feet and attachments, which help keep coverstitches looking professional. I love that Johanna includes information about copying ready to wear coverstitch techniques, because that is what most of us buy a coverstitch machine for, to make our sewing look professional!

Very thorough and complete explanation of what the machine can do and how to use it. The author really understands the machine and shows various ways to use it besides just for hemming. This is the only book you need to make the most of your machine.

I am pleased with this book. It has a lot of information. Photos are good. Very useful.

I found this book in a costume shop that I was working at and decided to buy it for myself. The shop needed me to use their coverstitch machine for some projects and I didnt have a lot of experience with these machines so the book walked me through it successfully. Also, I had purchased a little Juki coverstitch a while ago and hadn't used it yet, so this book helped a lot and now Ive been able to move forward.

This book sets the standard for what a sewing book should be. It is clearly written with additional summaries of key points to remember. There are photos illustrating every step. The author has thought through the processes she teaches and makes no assumptions. I could hardly put it down but kept reading it from cover-to-cover like a novel! I feel so confident about cover stitching now and how to use the cover stitching ability of my BabyLock Evolution!

Excellent book to give you the basics of using a cover-stitch machine if you're new to using one or just thinking of buying one. Lots of trouble-shooting advice. Written in 2019, the information is current. Very good photos and practical advice make this a great resource. I enjoy Johanna's You Tube videos on this topic as well.

El mejor libro de esta temática, muy bien explicado y con fotos muy buenas. Si estuviera en español ya sería fantástico.

This book is well researched and well resourced. Coverstitch machines can be tricky, and at times temperamental little treasures. This book has helpful tips on how to get the best out of your machine. This book also has very clear and concise instructions on how to achieve similar results, as to what is available on ready to wear cloths. It is an excellent addition to my sewing library.

Con questo ho finito di avere tutta la serie di libri dell'autrice, comprato prima di avere in regalo (inaspettata!) una macchina punto copertura, casualmente ho poi scelto senza saperlo la stessa identica macchina dell'autrice, quindi mi ha aiutato tantissimo. La Lundstrom è veramente brava, e copre campi del cucito che non sono trattati da altri (come il jeans, o l'abbigliamento tecnico).

C'est le livre que j'aurais apprécié d'acheter quand j'ai acheté ma recouvreuse, je vais progresser à grand pas maintenant sur ma machine. Dans ce livre, il y a tout le nécessaire pour bien régler cette machine et en obtenir le maximum. Bravo et merci Johanna. Ton blog aussi est super pour compléter.
