This stuff is amazing! I was having a hard time getting stains out of my baby’s clothing- even Shout and OxiClean weren’t working- and someone recommended trying this out, and it really works! It gets all food stains, grass stains and even my son’s drool stains! The only stains it sometimes doesn’t work on is dirt. The scent is okay… it doesn’t smell good, but doesn’t smell bad, either. It’s worth it for getting stains out!

I bought this for my dorm because I only have like ten minutes to get ready before 8 a.m. classes. I use it on my makeup brushes after late-night getting-ready sessions with my roommate. I just swirl the brushes in it and rinse, and the old foundation and eyeshadow gunk comes right off. The bristles feel soft again, not crunchy. It smells clean too, kind of like fresh laundry, which is nice when the room already smells like ramen. Price is good for how often I use it, and my makeup actually goes on smoother now.

Great Product, Works SO Well I Just Personally Do Not Like The Smell. Out Of The Package It Smells A Bit Like Citronella To Me. I Can Smell It While Washing As Well But Clothes Don't Smell Of It Once Finished. I Wish I Wasn’t Turned Off By The Smell Because It Does Work So Well.

This is my tried and true makeup brush cleaner for more than 5 years. It gets out all but the very most stubborn pigments (glaring at a particular matte teal shade in my collection) but it's not overly harsh. It's also great at cleaning brushes and sponges that have been used with oil- or emollient-based products like concealers and many foundations. I have yet to experience any skin irritation from using brushes I washed with Zote (of course, you do need to rinse your brushes thoroughly). A bar will last me almost 2 years, even using it weekly, so you can't beat the price per use, especially compared with makeup brands' official brush cleaners--many of which aren't as effective. The soap itself does smell kinda like a laundromat (which... yeah), but that smell doesn't transfer to the brushes. So if you want a good, dependable, affordable makeup brush cleaner, Zote is your baby.

This is THE BEST stuff for really getting makeup brushes clean! Beats ANY brush cleaner out there and costs 1/3 of the price. Lasts for quite a while too if only using for makeup brushes

Stop, and hit buy! As a mom of 4 kids and 3 goldens, this has saved me. It helps lift tough stains when other spot removers failed. It is my go to when I am fighting the tough to remove stains. For the cost, it is a 12/10 as it does the job. I personally do not notice any scent. I would recommend it as part of everyone's laundry room essential list.
