Best Of Vangelis

Vangelis Reprise is exactly what I didn't expect; I had never heard of Vangelis when I bought the CD several years ago. I thought, "I'll try it." It is my favorite CD, and because either I misplaced it or someone took it, I am buying it again.I cannot imagine not having this CD at my disposal any longer! It is so moving and provocative, whether as background music or for your most intense listening pleasure. It is both inspirational and emotionally-compelling. There is a reason for its existence. Anyone that does not have an appreciation for its immense artistic value may not have reached that level of humanity which encompasses the tonal influences of this incredible author of sound.

One of my favorite Vangelis cd's. One I'd purchased from Amazon a year or so ago started skipping, so since I found this at a good price, I re-purchased it. I don't know if I'd have any recourse to them doing anything about the other one since it was a while ago. I'm looking forward to hearing this beautiful compilation again---and again!

Replaces one that someone thought it belonged at their house.

I already have quite a bit of Vangelis, so some of the tracks on this CD I already have on other discs, but that does not stop me from never being able to get enough of the Vangelis music, it is slightly alternative, but not weird.

Music is so personal. It's like asking what is your favorite pie, there's really no wrong answer. But I already owned "Themes" and was so happy with that. This selection may be wonderful for one listener, and only so-so for another. For me, it was so-so.I think I was expecting something on the order of "Themes," but I didn't get that.Update:It's been six weeks, and I'm starting to appreciate this a little more. At this point I would rate it as 3.5 stars, or maybe 3.7.

Questa raccolta, mette insieme il meglio delle composizioni di questo autore, pertanto ci sono colonne sonore e brani vari composti nel periodo che va dal 1990 al 1999. Melodie indimenticabili e registrazione impeccabile fanno di questo CD un acquisto imperdibile per i fan di Vangelis. Spedizione rapida e imballo ottimo.

Das erste Album, welches ich jemals von Vangelis besaß, damals noch als MIni-Disc, deshalb nun der Neukauf als CD (ist praktischer). Ich würde sie sehr vermissen, wenn ich sie nicht mehr in meiner Sammlung hätte.
