Works great!
I installed 2 of these as non-contact door proximity switches in my old truck and they work great. The wiring diagram on the switch is a little misleading, but the colors used are typical of proximity switches and a better diagram can easily be found online. Distance for actuation is easily adjusted.

Out of the box; dead
I bought two of these sensors, and one was dead out of the box. Made in China.
