Schaller S Locks Guitar Strap Locks and Buttons (Pair) Gold

I've been a fan of the Schaller Strap-Locks for over 20 years. The original-recipe 80's 90's version were great but as they wore on though the years they became difficult to work. Often requiring extra attention to click on and also slide off. These redesigned Schaller's are so smooth and easy to click on that I forget about the $30 price tag. Schaller also made the unlock knob bigger and easy to grab so sliding off is more comfortable. As always they feel super solid. The new locks do fit on the old buttons some of my guitars still have, though the new strap buttons have a beefier integrated screw that is an interesting addition that I like. The plating is top-notch!

I figure if you are shopping for these, you know what they do. These do that, and they do it quite well. Nice satisfying "Snick" snapping on, easy to get off. Makes packing and un-packing MUCH easier and quite a bit more impressive, if you're into that.

Easy to install, work great, look great, very secure.

These are simply the best strap locks money can buy. Not cheap but worth every penny. My only gripe is they do stick out a little bit more than your average strap pin, but the pros vastly outweigh the cons. Easy installation, any color to match your guitar, fast lock/unlock feature, and most importantly, security! I will be buying these for the rest of my life.

Schaller strap locks are made very well. What I like about them is they last a long time and they keep your strap secure to your instrument. The color is nice as well. These are well made and far better than the cheap ones found from other companies on this website. The price is also reasonable. They were easy to install, but it requires an Allen wrench. NOT included. So 4 stars on that. I like that the screw and lock are one mechanism. Unlike what other people do.

I’ve used these since 1990 and they stand the rigours of the road use. But I think I like the old style with the nut better than the locking ring with the set screw.

As a tool & die maker - I'm REALLY impressed with the fit & finish of these strap locks. They look great, they lock securely, & they make zero noise as was the issue with the older models. I recommend & would buy again.
