Singer Sewing Co 3221 Simple Sewing Machine

I read the instructions thoroughly and did not rely on muscle memory from having a sewing machine throughout most of my younger years. I loaded the bobbin, used the automatic threader (LOVE IT) and gave it at try with my very old thread. After a couple of misstarts I adjusted the tension in the bobbin housing and adjusted stitch length and BOOM I was sewing!! A great starter machine for a casual user to make sure that sewing is something they want to pursue as a hobby. Great price point!!

All of my sewing stuff was in storage when I needed to make masks for COVID. NO ONE had sewing machines because of...well...COVID! This was the only one I could get my hands on so I didn't expect much. It's a great little machine. I actually like it more than my high tech Brother. I will continue to use even after my things are out of storage.

I have made over 1,500 face masks so far and my machine was making a funny, clicking noise. I bought this one (in case my other one went out). Although it is a step down from the Singer I already have. It is a great little machine and sews very well. Very easy to use. I recommend this product.

However! Although it fulfilled its promises in the self-threading and ease of use the foot pedal was a nightmare! It sped at the speed of light - completely uncontrollable. So unfortunately I had another 30€ to pay for a replacement food pedal I bought from the Singer agent in our nearest town.

It’s a very nice machine for the money. I wanted something simple because when I sew it’s easy straight stitching. I have made lots of masks and even an apron. I used one of the fancy stitches for the hem of the apron. I tried out most of them on sample fabric and some are just glorified zigzag but I did find one that I liked.

LOVED THE FAST DELIVERY (LESS THAN 3 DAYS)! AND machine brand new in great condition when delivered, so easy to use/learn to use! I would definitely recommend this product for anyone beginning to learn how to sew or wanting to pick up a new hobby. Would add pictures, but I was so excited to receive the product I have already begun starting some projects (for help, check out Youtube videos).

I have been sewing for many years, but just wanted a machine that was easy and simple to use. This one is not it. Threading the bobbin was impossible. It was a mess. Just putting it all together was difficult. Nothing was easy. I tried watching the dvd sent, but it didn't even work properly ~ kept stopping. I read all the reviews for this machine and should have paid more attention to the one and two star reviews. They were all correct in their reviews.

I was so impressed with how quickly this item was deliver and the packaging was intact (not crushed). Perfect for wrapping my grand daughters birthday present. Also received a very nice note from the vendor which I really appreciated. My grand daughter is just starting to sew and I know she will be thrilled. I recommend this vendor highly.
