We adopted a kitten from the shelter and my husband started having an allergic reaction to him. We have had cats before and there has been no issue. But for some reason this little kitty was causing him severe allergies. We were devastated as we had already grown attached to him so we started doing research to see if there was anything we could do. We found this product and it has worked fantastically! After the first treatment, my husband hasn’t had any symptoms. He holds him and pets him with no reactions at all. This product saved us the heartache of having to get rid of our sweet new kitty. As a bonus it has made his fur soft and silky! We are very sensitive to smells and this product does not leave behind any sort of after smell. Well worth the money!!!

I guess this product really works! My brother is super allergic to my cat and typically spends his entire visits here sneezing. Hoping for better this time, I took the advice of other reviews and tried this solution out. Not being allergic to cats myself, I had no idea what to expect, but we had a sneeze-free week the whole time he was here! No complaints of the usual itchy eyes or scratchy sinuses. I’m so excited it worked! I’ve already ordered more and will definitely be keeping this in hand. The spray is easy to use and doesn't have a scent (though I did notice some in a small room with a closed door after thoroughly dousing the space). I used one entire bottle for a heavy pass through our home (2400 sq ft) and lightly reapplied every 3-4 days after. Scrubbed down the cat too with the mit! Well worth having an allergen-free space for family.

This has been extremely helpful with my kitten allergies. We adopted 2 from the shelter and I was getting sick at first however once we started applying this once a week the allergies immensely lessened. It is easy to apply and my cat didn’t hate it. It is easy to store in a medicine cabinet and is soft on their skin.

I use this product weekly with my cat. She gets itchy and will scratch and lick her coat. This created hair loss. Since using this product she now has silky, soft hair and her hair grew back! I use a paper towel and spray it generously. The paper towel made it easier to wipe her hair and rub into areas that needed extra ( the mitt that came with it is high quality I just found it too big and too absorbing of the liquid)

I'm giving 3 stars because I received an amount of product that I feel is worthy of the price if it does work. The mitt for applying the product is nicely sized to fit my hand as well as my husband's larger hand. The mitt itself is helpful when kitty disapproves as it helps to protect you a little from reactionary mini attacks. The bottle came with a top like a bottle of shampoo and an additional sprayer top so that you can choose whichever one works best for you. The sprayer top has a little button you can push to lock the mechanism. The straw/tube for the sprayer top actually reaches the bottom of the bottle. Yay! The negative is that my kitty is not willing to be rubbed as we need to rub her. We will continue to work on getting her to cooperate and hopefully we will eventually get there. The places I was able to rub she immediately began licking again. I'm really hoping this works b/c my daughter absolutely loves her kitty, but she is suffering from cat allergies and the brushing she did prior to attempting to apply the product (brushing is the first step in the instructions) really made her miserable. So, I'm giving 3 stars because the quality that we can see is primo. I can't give stars for how well it works because my kitty is an uncooperative adorable pain in the patootie. I will come back and update with the amount of time it took to get her to allow us to really use it and say how well it works if we ever get there. If your cat likes water you will probably have zero worries about using this.

My son was diagnosed with a severe cat pelt allergy and our pediatrician recommended we try Allerpet so we could keep our beloved cat Percy. Percy has been in our family 4 years and our kids would be heartbroken if we had to rehomed him. The package arrived quickly with the included application mitt, no leaks or spillage in the box. It's easy to apply. I brush our cat first then I spray it on him and use the mitt to make sure it gets all the way down to his skin and not just on the putter layer of his fur. I put it all over Percy, even his paws, belly, tail and "man bits" (He's neutered, so where his man bits used to be). (*TIP*)I did transfer the Allerpet into a spray bottle instead of using the bottle it came with that has a flip top lid. That was a bit too much to handle plus the mitt and our cat. My son's allergys manifest in eczema. Eczema on his hands that cracks and bleeds, on his elbows, scalp, feet, knees and legs, even on his tummy. Percy is an indoor/outdoor cat. He doesn't sleep in any of our bedrooms, his cat territory is the common spaces in our home: living room, kitchen, and bathroom. I do vacuum, and clean daily also to reduce dander on the floors and furniture. And Percy also gets a weekly bath. After 2 months of use I can tell a difference. My son can pet Percy without instantly itching and sneezing like crazy. It hasn't negatively effected Percy. He still self grooms and behaves normally. His fur is still as soft and as plentiful as ever. No noticeable fur loss or chemical burns. No odd behaviour after it is applied other than him giving me the stink eye for getting him wet. It doesn't seem to interfere with the flea/tick treatment we apply (we use the neck drops once a month). I do NOT administer the flea/ tick treatment and Allerpet on the same day. I make sure to do his flea/tick treatment on a Monday and his Allerpet every Friday. I have an alarm set in my phone so I don't miss a week of Allerpet. I have recommend Allerpet to my family that has pets so we can still visit without 2 weeks of consequences for our little guy (He's also allergic to dogs!). It works if you use it as directed. We're thrilled that we can keep Percy and manage our son's allergys.

Tenía miedo de que viniera a quedarse en mi casa mi novia que es bastante alérgica a los gatos. Dos semanas antes de que llegara limpié lo mejor que pude mi departamento, bañé a la gata y comencé a aplicarle el producto (lo puse en una botella de spray como sugerían algunas reseñas) por todo el cuerpo una vez a la mañana, rociandola bien por todos lados con especial atención a la zona genital, patas y mejillas (cuidado de que no les caiga en los ojos o nariz ) que es donde tienen las glándulas. Y nada, no solo funcionó sino que se le hizo bastante bonito el pelaje, muy suave y sin caspa. En combinación con un purificador de aire (marca Levoit) no tuvo que tomar antihistamínicos en toda su estancia e incluso pudo convivir con la gata acariciándola y dejándola entrar a la habitación. Recomendadísimo! Solo tienen que tener disciplina de aplicarlo regularmente, una vez que pasó la semana se empieza a notar que se quita el efecto. Lo usé dos meses y me queda más de la mitad de la botella para la próxima visita de mi novia :)

Me encantó. Mi hermana sufre de alergias con perros y gatos. Así que decidí comprar este producto. Lo he estado usando 1 vez por semana y por primera vez, mi hermana no presento el salpullido, los ojos llorosos y esa rinitis horrible Desde el segundo uso, notamos disminución de los síntomas, pero fue en el cuarto uso que verdaderamente vimos la diferencia. Después ella fue a otra casa con perros y gatos y enseguida tuvo los síntomas, así que comprobamos que funciona. Por otro lado, vi muchos comentarios que preferían el uso del producto con atomizador, pero a mi gatita no le gusta, así que he estado usando el guante de microfibra que viene incluido y me es más fácil a mi la aplicación. Le pondría mil estrellas si pudiera, sólo hay que tener paciencia.

Llego aplastado y se regó, aún tenía como 3/4 de botella y la vdd esque me urgía adquirirlo pero debo recalcar que la calidad del producto es buena, sin embargo llego dañado y roto, tuve que cambiarlo de envase. Debieron dejar caer algo muy pesado encima porque el bote realmente es duro y resistente.
