Huge upgrade over my previous solutions
I have an outdoor lighting system, along with an overdone gate opener system, that is always growing and changing. These couplers are a HUGE upgrade over other solutions I've used. Over the years, I've used wire nuts, to wire nuts with squishy stuff inside, heat/shrink wrap, solder, and all kinds of specialty couplers. For OUTSIDE-THE-BOX applications, this is the best. I had NO PROBLEM with 16 GUAGE stranded landscape wire.

Super high quality and heavy duty. Probably overkill for what I needed (spicing outdoor 24v lighting cable. On the pricey side but you can tell it’s not cheaply made. Wish it could be more aggressively priced or offered in larger quantities. 5 stars if price wasn’t a concern.

Not water resistant
I had this on my outdoor lighting. The seal where the cable enters does not seal well enough to keep water out. My lights quit working and when I opened up the connector junction box the contact points were rusted and falling apart.

I bought this product for my friend. This product is easy to use.

All failed
Each one failed. The seal on the wire entry point is a rubber part. Each of the 20 I purchased dried out and cracked. This allowed water to enter and corrosion occurred on the contacts.
