These were super easy to install and I’m very happy with how they turned out. I decided to put these on my Windows because I wanted to purchase Lacey curtains but didn’t have any blinds in my kitchen windows in the apartment I rent. I didn’t feel like installing or asking my landlord to install blinds in those windows but I didn’t want to purchase Lacey curtains in my bottom floor apartment that is very close to neighboring houses but I still wanted them and needed some sort of privacy so I decided to pair the Lacey curtains with these on the windows behind them and it’s a super fun effect. The lights in my neighbors back yard glow through them beautifully at night and I’ve woken up to random rainbows on my walls but those effects are very subtle and I feel like there’s plenty of privacy from the way these distort the look of the windows so I don’t feel super exposed walking around my apartment with my Lacey curtains. Very satisfied and has a beautiful and fun look that is bright and uplifting or cheery. I recommend cutting the pieces you’ll use to size and laying them flat on a table with some books or something before installing these though. I didn’t do that for the first window and the edges kept trying to lift off of the window the entire time the moisture was drying and I kept having to go back and press them down again with the squeegee until they were dry but I flattened them off the roll for the second window and they were much easier to apply and I didn’t have that issue and they stuck right to the window edges and all. Just what I was looking for.

HOPE THIS HELPS.This is not your typical adhesive that you find in Lowes or Home Depot. Those products require that buy a special spatula and liquid to apply the product. I have tried those and was never able to smoothly apply to my windows. As a result I have had these temporary paper blinds that I cut down to cover the 12x60 inch clear side windows on both sides of my front door. So tacky looking.I thought the only option was hiring a handyman to install the Home Depot or Lowe’s window adhesive. One day I came upon this product and It’s a GAME CHANGER. It has grids to make even cutting possible No handyman needed my friend.ALL YOU NEED IS…1. You2. 15-20 min.3. Windex4. Paper towel5. Eyebrow razor from beauty store6. Sharp scissors7. Measuring tape.Step 1: Clesn window windex snd paper towelStep 2: measure the inside of window width snd height.3. Measure product. Add at least 1-2 inches more on top or bottom. You’ll thank me for this.4. Cut5. Peel down just an inch or two and adhere to window starting at top. Use your palms to smooth across as you work down.6. Once product is all on window smooth and then use fingernails around crevices.7. Use eyebrow razor to carefully trim edges and then peel those off slowly.

I bought this to block out the lower portion of my front window. My dogs like to bark at the kids biking around the neighborhood, dogs being walked, the squirrel... really at anything. I applied this today (10/5/2019) and so far really like it. It doesn’t look horrible to have it only on the lower portion—which was a worry of mine. As you can see from the picture it really does blur the outdoors but still allows light in. My husband is worried that it will block the light for the plants, but it comes off easily enough that if it is an issue I can just remove it. It went on very easily. I had a small bucket of warm very soapy water that I applied to the window and then applied the film right to the corner but looser at the end, so it wasn’t hanging. As I worked the bubbles out of the corner I would pull back on the film and again place a small portion tight to the window edges and work the bubbles out. This worked out very well. Allowing me to get all the bubbles out and prevent the film or window from getting any stray dog hairs under the film. I plan on purchasing another roll for our bathroom window. It prevents people from seeing in during the day, without sacrificing natural light.I plan on updating this review as time goes on. But seeing as it’s only been on my window for a day, I only gave 4 stars. If the film holds up to the afternoon sun without bubbling or peeling back then I will update my review to 5.I should also mention—this has decreased my dogs barking. Which in itself is worth a 5 star review lol.

I have used different window clings in the past, so I am familiar with the installation process. This one works beautifully. It is easy to apply or reapply if needed. It allows light to come in, but provides privacy as well. Once it is on, it stays put and has no bubbles/air pockets. I’ve had this on the window for quite a while, and it looks just as smooth as it did on day one.

I bought this a few years ago to add privacy to several windows in my apartment and absolutely love it. It’s very easy to install, blocks looky-lews and lets light in. Front facing is bright and skews images and in the back there are opacities that prevent looking through, even at night with lights on inside (seen in the 3rd picture). I decided to buy it again to apply to other windows because I liked it so much and now it is not privacy blocking at all. I added it to my kitchen door and you can see right through it on both sides. I even decided to apply it to both sides of the window to see if that would help and it didn’t. The other window I applied it to is next to the door and there is a clear difference from the outside. Really bummed because it was a great product.
