If you want to learn how to play Van Halen songs on guitar, this book has what you are looking for; however, I would only recommend it for advanced and serious guitarists because of the complexity of a lot of the music. The book is laid out well with two tables of contents, one in alphabetical order and one in order of page number, and an index of guitar symbols with clear definitions in the back. The order of the songs in the book is the same as the order on the CD of the same name (that's why in the book it says "Disc 1" before Eruption and "Disc 2" before Panama), so I would suggest buying the CD as well. Overall there are several great songs in this book, and anyone who is serious about playing guitar like Eddie Van Halen would really enjoy this product!

Many people wonder why they should bother buying a book with music and TABs when there are many ways to download TABs for free on the internet. The answer is simple, most of the TABs you get for free are WRONG! Don't just learn to sound close to Van Halen, learn how to play it the way he plays it exactly! The accuracy of this book is amazing. Plus learning how to play it the way he plays it will make you a better player, learning all kinds of licks and tricks. Make no mistake, you need to know how to play the guitar before trying to play Van Halen. Don't make the same mistake many others do, don't start with eruption get discouraged and quit. Learn why he is such a great rhythm player, start with Panama.

This book has all but a Few VH songs. It contains both the sheet music and the guitar tabs, making it easy to learn quickly and to learn to read sheet music, if you can't already. I almost purchased another book, but upon viewing it I found the print was blurry and you couldn't make out half the tabs. This book is clearly printed and accurate. It goes along with the CD of the same title. It even tells you What EFFECTS were used for each song and where they were approximately set at.

At least in my edition the printing is poor on many songs, I’m able to read music but if you rely on tablature alone you won’t be able to understand some numbers and you’ll find yourself guessing which one is.

I purchased this for my Kindle app on my iPad. I wanted to be sure to have the best Van Halen songs always accessible to me. I was skeptical that this would work well because of the resolution of the book, but you can double-tap on a specific area and it downloads a higher-resolution version of that part of the song. Highly recommended to any Van Halen fan.

I contenuti sono incontestabili ma la qualità della stampa è alquanto discutibile. In alcune pagine diventa impossibile leggere le annotazioni.

La qualité de l’impression de la partition laisse franchement à désirer. On arrive à peine à distinguer les chiffres des tablatures. À bien des endroits cela est même impossible vu la qualité déplorable de la reprographie. Je déconseille l’achat de cet article en l’état. Inutilisable. Vu le prix déboursé, c’est totalement inacceptable!

ボーカルの歌詞と音符、ギターのTAB譜と音符のみ、というscoreになります。 ベース、キーボード、ドラムといったTAB譜は載っていません。 ま～再販の再販のと重ねてるのか…印刷が荒い荒いｗｗｗそして紙は安っぽ～い印刷用紙の少し厚めのやつ。 ＴＡＢ譜側では０と３と６と８と９の区別がつかない部分が多々あります。ま~音符で判断はつきますがｗｗｗ も～ただの●潰しです。 さらに小さいスラーのタブ数字などが載った場合は完全な●潰しです。数字なんて何かいてるか解りません。 指板位置をしっかり覚えてる人には音符見ながらで問題ないと思いますが理論も何も解ってない人にはちょっと何かいてるのか解らない部分もあるかもです。みたところPANAMAとか一部ですが・・・。ERUPTIONは意外ときれいに印刷されてたりまちまちです。 それでもギタリストにとっては33曲入ってこの値段ならVANHALENの教科書代わりとして持っておいて損はしないと思います。 TAB譜の位置に関してはまだきちんと見てないので…すいません解りません。 VAN HALENを何曲かかいつまんで弾きたいというギタリストにはお勧めのscoreだとは思います。
