Excellent keyboard quality and design, it is easy to use and keys are perfectly weighted, perfect for this type of price, and supported by every DAW.

I brought keystation 61MK3 after lot of though. This product came out to be as expected. Good. 1) It's value for money. I got Amazon festival discount too. I did not want to spend much as I am not aware, how much use I can do, as basically my main instrument is Sitar, and this one is for composing, creating sounds, and background music. 2) It has good amount of free software with it, like Ableton Live lite, mini grand piano, velvet, expandi2 etc. The affordable price tag gives you scope to spend saved money on your favourite software and plugins. 3) 61 keys full-size keybed semi-weighted. And keys seems to be good to play. 4) Best suited for those who want to compose music on laptop as well as begining learn piano. Only con I could mention here was poor old packaging.

this review is about keystation61 which is absolutely amazing midi keyboard in this price point i was seaching for cheap but great keyboard and midi so that i can learn piano and do some studio work as well, as im musician i knew about some importent things to consider while making purchase, features this keyboard is offering is rare in this price point.like semweighted keys which are quite impressive in this model,velocity sensitive keys,which again works quite well,more importently full size keys which is very importent if you wana learn piano.other then that this product comes with bunch of vst plugins which are so amazing...you get alot of virtual instrumest for free... build quality is average i fear carring this keyboard here and there because it feels very delicate but again its cheap product and offering so much so no complaints. its simple sleek and usefull device i dont think so that i need to upgrade this in near future for my home studio use its very good product i recomend this and packing was worst the box was completly broken when i received this i was completly sure that it will be damaged. but lucky piece was in mint condition.so 1 star to amazon for this other then that this product is hightly recomended i got it for 12.999/- on amazon. and everything just works well ok this midi keyboard. last thing people here will write it should be having this that but adding more things will also add price,about which nobody talks, so for me this product is value for money.

Purchased this to practice Harmonium music lessons using the Jalra App. I had to order a seperate convertor for USB Type A (female) to Type-C (Male) adaptor. My initial impression was about to reject the product as it did not work with the USB Hub. You need to install the music app to make use of this Midi controller. I use the Jalra App for playing harmonium. Keys are a bit hard and slowly becomes alright. I tested the device using other Piano apps that support Midi Keyboard inputs.. I am happy about the purchase as it provides me the flexibility to practice wherever and whenever I want.. It is so light and small enough to be carried in your 16" laptop bag. I have tested it using my Laptop (Windows 11, Acer Aspire 7) and Mobile (OnePlus Open and Samsung Note 10Plus) - both work superbly! The USB cable that came with the controller works fine when the device is directly connected to the laptop. Make sure you install the Midi application before connecting the device. In addition to the Midi keyboard - I had to buy the following: 1. USB Type A (Female) to Type-C (Male) cable. 2. Paid version of Jalra App for Carnatic music costing about INR600.00

Please send mew keyboard with perfect packing and wrapped.. Since the returned piece not working, no packing, only keyboard box ccame with fully torned and keboard exposed came out. Not in working condition

This is a great MIDI keyboard. I am using it to learn keys using Melodics app and connecting it to my laptop. This makes the setup quite economic in its space consumption. The only downside is that the keys are relatively smaller compared to a normal keyboard/piano. The range buttons help go low or high, but not very useful when you want to play with both hands in different ranges. Oh well, the intended function of this keyboard is not clearly not to learn keyboard, but to be able to plug it into a DAW like Ableton to "draw" your basslines and melodies, for which this keyboard should be great.

The product is AMAZING. THE PACKAGING IS TOTALLY TRASH…!!!! I wish the seller would have taken packaging more seriously especially for such a great product.

This is a great controller. If you want a synth, look elsewhere. But if you have great software like Logic Pro, you'll never run out of sounds this thing can control. The pitch wheel is flawless, and the modulation changes the sound in subtle ways (or large ways if you want). I don't use this to control my software. I sit at a computer and create when using this keyboard. I just use it for the keys and the pitch/mod wheels, and that's it. And that will keep me occupied for a long time to come. The keys aren't weighted like the upright grand I learned to play on - but it's fine. The key actions are just fine. If you want realism, spend a LOT more money and go for it. The thing is, if you want to adjust attack etc. in MIDI, you have all the flexibility you want in the LP software. I didn't download any of the software they included with this as I have no use for it. YMMV. Overall I think it was money well spent and am quite happy with the purchase.

That knob on the top left is very useful to control stuff on a DAW

I was looking for a keyboard that can be used with either my MacBook Pro or iPad Air. It can do both without any additional power requirements. The light weight also makes it easy to setup anywhere I might want to use it. For the iPad, the only additional thing you need is the Lightning to USB Camera Adapter to hook it up. On the app side, I have a variety of synths as well as drum apps that can be used. They have all worked very well with the keyboard. Many of the apps also support background audio and will continue playing if you switch to another app. I have used it with forScore which allows me to play and read my music at the same time. When using it with forScore, I have seen background audio temporarily drop out sound for a few seconds. Not a problem of the keyboard but it would be nice if the iPad Air kept the audio going continuously in this mode. On the Mac side, I have used it with Logic Pro X and it has worked great there as well. It can be a controller for any of the software instrument sounds you can load in Logic. It also works fine with GarageBand. The keys aren't fully weighted piano keys but still have a nice feel to them. Your preference will determine if that is good enough. I used an old sustain pedal from a Yamaha keyboard which works fine as well. Highly recommend.
