Looks better than the quality actually is
The wood is thin and soft. Hard to believe this is weatherproof. I bought this for my two cats because the size works for them. I have it on back porch- so will know more after a few months. Relatively easy to put together. Arrived on time. The size is good. I probably would not order again because for the $100, I could make one more durable or buy the igloo style.

Nice product
Great product! My only negative is I wish it was more sealed at roof and wall connect. For the summer it's fine, but for winter it allows a pretty good draft. We did add some insulated strips inside to try to help with draft. My dog loves this when he's outside.

Not good for chickens
This would probably be good for a dog. I bought it for my chicken coop. It did not work for me. The chickens would not go through it. They would rather sleep in the run.

My cat needs a door
Needed this for a cat litter box it was cheap enough and served the purpose . Kind of thin so if you need this for outdoors it may not work for you .

Fitment is off
You would think fitment would be perfect with the dog/cat house but the holes don’t match up perfectly which makes the door buckle which will allow water to get in. Not sure if it’s the holes on the house or the flap that’s off but since they’re the same manufacturer I’ll leave the review here. I just drilled another hole on one side and stretched the hole on the other side and it fits ok now. One other thing is the flap/door doesn’t go all the way to the bottom of the house entrance. Maybe a quarter of an inch off. Material seems good though.

Very sturdy and maybe a bit intimidating for small dogs at first
Good quality. Feels very sturdy, maybe even a bit too much so for my tiny 8lb miniature schnauzer to push thru comfortably. She's a little intimidated by the door. I've been putting treats inside to cox her. Hopefully this will work over time.

It fits the medium dog house (white w/blue roof) and easy to install.
