Works well but wish it wasnt so tippy.
For small projects this is very handy but for even medium sized projects it falls over easily. I wish the base would wider and it had holes so you could screw it to a small board or table top. The screws come loose easily and need pliers to tighten and Ive had several wing nuts strip out. But its a good start with small upgrades.

How helpful can this really be?
For the price and fast delivery time this product is worth it. Upon using it day one it is more than helpful. It has more applications than I previously thought

Works
Does what it is supposed to do and is a great tool for holding wires while soldering. I took the magnifier off and don't use it bc it was just in the way. But if you are soldering electronic things works well.

This unit is for soldering small things like wires.
The unit is only 3 x 4 inches. It has a 2x2 inch cast iron base. Not made to hold much weight. One 1 star compared about it falling over. Yes the base is small, it holds wires. If your buying this you should have the ability to drill two holes in the base and attach it to a board to make the base wider. Another says it falls apart. I'm 85 and I had no problem tightening it. Anyway, it works for me and I am also visually impaired and the magnifying glass is great for me. Mine is a great help to me. Retired electrical engineer.

You get what you pay for.
It's small, it's annoying to work with, but it's cheap & it'll do the job.

Got this one to replace my broken magnifying glass on another one I have. This one's glass has a metal frame around the magnifying glass and my old one did not. The old one's magnifying glass was plastic without a metal frame and it broke at the stem. This one should do better with the metal frame and metal stem.

Ladies: Try using this for false eyelashes!
I had the bright idea to use these to hold my false eyelashes. I'll put the glue on the lash edges then let this little contraption hold them while I do the rest of my makeup. When I am ready to apply the lashes, they are perfectly tacky! No more holding the lashes, blowing on the glue and no more messy applications due to runny glue! Yay! This should be marketed for such a purpose.

Lens is chipped, frame is bent. Only bubble warp to protect the lens. Parts are lose in the box damaging the lens.
