BLACK DIAMOND Storm 375 Lumen (Octane)

So I purchased the same headlamp to replace my ancient Petzl that disintegrated. I honestly haven't used it much as I was pregnant when I got it but my husband would "borrow" it. He had an older BD that was the most powerful on the market when he purchased it but this was brighter and longer lasting than that one. (I don't remember what he had previously.) So, in order for me to not lose my nice, new headlamp, I got him this one for Christmas. We primarily use these for night hiking/snowboarding, camping trips, and for getting down from the crag after a day of climbing.

This is the second time I've purchased this brand and have never been disappointed. I still use the first one I bought...I only bought a new one because it had new features that I wanted. I use these lights in the most extreme environment that exists on earth...the Arctic of remote Alaska.

Bright versatile light. Comfortable. Instructions are not so clear so it takes a bit of trial and error to use all the functions and it may be difficult to remember the various combinations and outputs. Am however satisfied with the product and would recommend.

Very easy to use. Bright. Change out batteries every other week. Use it about 3 hours each night for vehicle maintenance

This headlamp is solid and comes with a 3 year warranty..

Really like the Storm!

Came with depleted batteries. It was not as bright as my friends weaker Spot. I was about to send back when I decided to try another set of batteries. With new batteries it worked as you would expect.

Muy arrepentido por esta compra, dura 2horas la batería, sin contar que con las pilas resulta pesada y se mueve al correr a ritmos altos, esperaba que de al menos unas 5 horas en máxima intensidad pero llega a 2 con pocos minutos, Usadas con una pilas AAA Sony de 840mah C/U
