Dynasty Jasmine Rice, 2 Pound, 32 Ounce

I love jasmine rice for its fragrant stickiness -- it's perfect alone or under Thai curries or whenever you want rice. This Dynasty rice, while not my go-to brand, embodies exactly what I expect in a jasmine. You do need to rinse the rice before cooking, and even then, it seems to be more glutinous than other kinds, often bubbling up through rice cooker vents. Love this rice. Make a large batch of it for during the week for wraps with beans etc and is always good. Only gripe I have is the 20 minutes it says to cook it for doesn't seem right. I find that 30 minutes works better then take it off for the 10 minutes. Otherwise it still leaves water on the bottom. This could just be a case because I make a large 5 quart size but maybe a small saucepan will make it in 20 minutes as it indicates. Your mileage will vary I suppose. Always good to check it with a spoon if it has water settled on the bottom before taking it off. If still water, add another 5-10 minutes then check again and repeat.

This is truly delicious rice. I rinsed it, then cooked it according to the water/rice ratio on the back of the package, and it cooked very quickly. The rice grains retained their shape and had just enough firmness. I dislike mushy rice. The flavor was delicious. Yum.

What I expected... does stick too much in my rice cooker, but that may be the cooking method.

Hands down the best rice. Amazing price for this and it never comes out gummy. It’s perfect every time and so easy to cook without a rice maker because no matter how long you cook this, it doesn’t get gross. So good.

There is no better Jasmine Rice available in the U.S. This rice appears to be lower in starchy coating that makes rice stick together. I don't notice much of a Jasmine fragrance, but it tastes good and fluffs easily.

this is great rice, the flavor is fantastic and the value superb...was super tasty with homemade chili chicken and fry bread. Good buuy for the money and gluten free

I love this brand of rice . It tastes just like getting it at the Chinese restaurant.great taste and flavor. I’ve tried other rice and nothing comes close.
