This is the only curry I will eat from now
Perfect. Smells and tastes good. Better than the other Japanese brand I ate since I was a kid. This definitely replaced it.

So good, it’ll heal a broken heart.
This variety of curry roux is DELICIOUS. It’s very mild for my tastes, but what it lacks in spice it more than makes up for in overall flavor! The sweetness it advertises is totally there, but the part they don’t mention is that making a pot of this curry will fix your soul. When I took my first bite, I felt like the spirit of the curry gave my insides a hug, melting all my troubles away. Definitely one of my favorite curry roux of all time, no idea why I’ve slept on it for so long.If you can get it in-person, though, I will say that the price is SIGNIFICANTLY more affordable. Like, about half the price. Admittedly, though, I did decide to buy this during the apocalypse, when online prices are all over the place.

Will be buying more!
I was nervous initially because I didn’t realize I ordered medium hot (wasn’t too spicy at all - perfect!). I’ve also never worked with a product like this and the brick like texture intimidated me. I thought for sure this wouldn’t dissolve or have the texture I wanted. I’m so happy to report how wrong I was! This made a delicious curry that rivaled the curry I get from a favorite restaurant of mine. Now I can have that flavor in the comfort of my own home.

Hearty, Hot, but not "Hot"
This flavor was amazing. I ate too much of it. It's definitely a new comfort favorite of mine that isn't too difficult to make. However, I was expecting a little bit of a kick but there was nothing that I could sense. Was it a mistranslation? It's not super savory. It has a unique balance of sweet and savory. But I'd love to be able to put more foods into it for the future.

Best Japanese curry to buy in america
I normally have my friend send me curry from Japan and I like s&b brand as well, but There’s just something about Vermont’s flavor...it’s incredible. Reminds me of being in japan with my friend and her mom eating her moms curry. It’s delicious. Taste authentically Japanese and if you get the honey and apple kind it saves you from having to grate an apple and add the honey yourself.

Tastes just like the katsu curry I had in Tokyo
I love this kind of curry and so do the kids. Good to keep one around. I put 1-2 large sweet onions and 3 large carrots in after softening them up on the stove. Buy or make some breaded chicken or pork cutlets and make some sushi rice and you have an amazing meal!

Vermont is my favorite
The mild, medium, hot really do not seem to refer to the spicy level as you would expect. I think it is lost in translation as spicy is more like flavor level (salt, etc.). The medium seems to be the perfect balance. The mild is not flavorful enough, the hot is too salty, and the medium is just right.
