Fast delivery
There are less expensive options for these peppers, but pay a few more dollars for faster delivery. I purchased some that were shipped from Thailand and I got impatient, so I ordered these so I could proceed with my recipe. Now that the others arrived, I have a mother lode of peppers. This bag is generous sized and the peppers are nice and spicy. I recommend!

Stale, bland, no heat
Peppers had no heat or really any flavor at all. I tried using them dry, steeping in water, sitting in oil or cooking in oil, even toasting on the stove first.Would not buy again.

Color, smell and dryness show chilies' quality
Can wait to try it for dishes! It looks and smells exactly the same way as the dry chilies I used to have at home. The color and dryness are very good. And almost all of the chilies in good shape, only one or two broken.

Musty peppers!
Watch out buying these peppers. Amazon doesn't allow returns, so if they are bad like the ones I received, you are stuck with them.Although they looked ok, they smelled musty. I cooked some and tasted them and they tasted bad. Going to throw them out, $7 wasted!

... portabellos using traditional Chinese ingredients They work a lot better than my mild American chilis
I got these to work in Fuchsia Long's (Every Grain of Rice) recipe for Kung Pao portabellos using traditional Chinese ingredients They work a lot better than my mild American chilis. I liked them so much I just used them in my Indian recipe for curried potatoes.

Hot, hot, hot!
Love these peppers! They literally radiate volcano heat! Used them to infuse a bottle of Wild Turkey Honey whiskey. Only use half a pepper when doing this and then sample every 30-60 minutes to check on the heat level. I infused the entire bottle and take a shot almost every evening before bedtime. It is an old timer's remedy which seems to make a difference for me.

These are great--REALLY HOT!! I mince them up and infuse them into olive oil. Use like regular olive oil for anything where you want a nice kick. Just proceed with caution--these can hurt you!
