The Leather Guy Branding Iron Standing Steak Brand Firefighter Badge Sign 3 3/8" x 2 3/8"

We grill a lot and I thought a branding iron would be a perfect gift for my husband. I opened it to check out the product and I thought it was dirty looking compared to the picture. My husband really liked it and said that it was perfectly fine and any residue would burn off, (he knows more about this stuff than I do). Sure enough, he branded some beef steaks and chicken breasts. It was really fun and we can’t wait to use it when family come to grill out.

Love the idea, but product arrived very rough and unfinished. It took some time with a file to get it slightly decent but with the very uneven lines and deep gouges, the pattern left by this is still noticeably off

LOVE these little branding irons which I purchased for boy scout summer camp activities. I heated mine up very quickly with just a propane torch, but we'll be heating them up with a coal-fired forge at camp, so it will only take a millisecond in that heat. My 'test' sign was from a well seasoned sourwood slab which is very hard wood and it worked GREAT!

These brands are fantastic- I bought seven to use on furniture I make and these brands are very well made and work great once you do a little practice. Highly recommend.

The steak branding iron was exactly as described and worked perfectly. The iron heated quickly and was hot enough to do 4 steaks on one side. On reflection, I would prefer one that was not as wide as it takes a large steak to effect the brand. Vendor was great and would buy from again.

I contacted the seller with a question about the product. The person (not a recording) that answered the phone, was very friendly, had in-depth knowledge about the product, and was more than happy to help. The product arrived quickly and is of very good quality/craftmanship.
