Great little tube for quick fixes
Great little tube for quick fixesThis Bondo glazing and spot putty has become a very handy item to keep around the garage. It’s designed for small imperfections—things like pinholes, scratches, minor dings, and hairline cracks—and that’s exactly where it shines. I used it on a couple of small blemishes before repainting a car panel, and it spread smoothly, filled in the flaws, and was ready to sand surprisingly fast. Within half an hour I was sanding it down, and the surface blended seamlessly into the surrounding area. What I like is how versatile it is—you can use it not just on metal, but also fiberglass, wood, and other materials. The consistency is easy to control, not too runny and not too thick. A little goes a long way, and the 4.5 oz tube should last quite a while for touch-ups.Things to keep in mind: this isn’t meant for large repairs or deep gouges—it’s really a finishing product. You’ll still need a proper filler for big dents. Also, once opened, the tube can dry out over time if you’re not careful about sealing it tightly.Bottom line: a fast-drying, easy-to-use spot putty that’s great for quick, small repairs before painting. Perfect to have in your toolkit for automotive touch-ups or small household fixes.

Use this to fill in small imperfections and you will get a more professional appearance.
This works great to fill in small nicks in the surface so you can get a professional smooth appearance. It is also easy to sand.

Works well on shallow cracks & holes on wood. Easy to sand. Hard to paint over the red.
I'm using this on wood cabinets to fill some shallow cracks and nail holes. It workes really well, but there are a couple of things to be aware of... first, it sets up really quickly, so you have to work fast. It also has a pretty strong smell, so if you are using indoors, you'll want some ventilation. Finally, it's red, so be prepared to have to prime it a couple of times before paint, because like I said - it's red and hard to cover. No applicator provided, but an old gift card works great for applying. I was using a plastic putty knife, but you can't get all the putty off, so using something disposable to apply is a better option. Easy to sand, and because it sets up and dries so quickly, you don't have to wait overnight for it to dry.

Bondo is KING
I love Bondo. It's an amazing product. I've used to for patching holes in some of the most luxury real estate in all of Minnesota. This bottle is a great size for a large portion of products. Bondo is so easy to apply it's absurd. It's usually best paired with wood filler. You fill the hole first with wood filler, sand, paint your first layer, Bondo the holes again, sand, repeat. Bondo is incredible for easily layering your fill, making it impossible to notice any hole at all. Once you learn how to do this technique, you'll understand why I'm all about it.Bondo is usually easy to clean when wet, but the red powder is hard to get off surfaces without wiping it with water. That powder is ultra fine and will get everywhere. If you have never used Bondo, understand this product stinks to high heavens. If you are sensitive to chemicals and chemical odor, you'll probably want a respirator. You do not want to use this product anywhere you can't get open air.

Great of chips and dings
I own an orange car and live in the northeast, saying my paint gets chipped once in awhile is an understatement. With the conditions of the roads and the inability of people to park their car without hitting yours you will inevitably find chips, scratches or dings on many areas of your car.The red bondo here works very well and blends really well down to the orange of my vehicle. It dries quickly, even on a chilly day and has repaired the imperfections so that I don't have to worry about them growing or the metal underneath rusting out.

for small spaces, scratches, bubbles or dips to smooth the surface after the main bondo smoothing.
This is very easy to use, no mixing at all.after you apply your normal bondo and sand it smooth, if there are very small divits or scratch in paint, use this to fill. very smooth and easy to install, red in color.when sanding, use a high grit sandpaper as this is not as tough as normal bondo filler. it will sand off very easily but it also shapes easily as well.Don't use this as the first filler or deeply fill voids.easy to use and fast to sand off.RECOMMENDEDI do not know the seller and did not get anything for my random review240407 2246
