Best Optimus figure I've ever gotten
I love this figure. I have been messing around with it for weeks now and I must say it's one of my favorite primes ever. It just looks so good and the plastic is high quality. My only gripe is where the wheels fold onto his back it makes him look a little wider than he should be at the waist but it really isn't that bad at all. The figure looks great and is really fun to transform once you find the right order of steps and get used to it. Although, the transformation is probably a little too much for kids but the figure definitely seems to be made more for collectors. Truck mode is immaculate. Looks like a model truck and has zero robot kibble. Highly recommend this figure!

Now I understand the hype.
This figure in hand is extremely detailed. If you like G1 prime and movie prime, this is a combination of the two, leaning more towards G1 prime. I own most of this year's voyager Optimus Prime figures and Hasbro is doing a very good job with them. This one especially has incredible articulation and paint applications. The transformation is fun and involved with everything staying flush. If you like folding and tabbing panels in, this is definitely the figure for you. He is very accurate to the movie CGI except for a few things like the shoulders and elbows but for the most part it's spot on. There's molded detail in parts you normally wouldn't look like when you open up the chest panels or the leg joints. This figure is worth every penny.

Great Gift for Collector & Child
First off, I rate this product 5/5 instead of 4/5 due to personal impressions of the toy’s quality, size, and fun. Optimus Prime comes with full details, coloration, and aesthetic as a must-have collectible item; in fact, he appears as if he came straight out of a comic book! While he is designed to be a child’s plaything, Optimus is sculpted with impressive details that you can examine and gaze at for a good 5 minutes. My wish is that the eyes were blue glass/plastic instead of paint, and that the toy was 2-3 inches taller. As for complaints, perhaps due to it being a used item, you must exercise caution with transforming the toy as some parts may pop off. Admittedly, I bought the toy used at $30, so perhaps I got my money’s worth.

This is the best since 2007 after Michael Bay F'ed up Transformers
I bought 3 units, two from Target, and one from Amazon. 1 still waiting to be shipped, and then 1 opened to play with, and another 1 I put on my shelf unopened. This is the closest one that looks like G1 Prime! It looks just cool! I have the 20th anniversary unopened, besides 20th anniversary looks exactly like G1, but according to youtube and other online source, 20th's transformation to truck was a bit BS! this $30 unit, it transformed to a very good looking G1 truck! and a really realistic truck in real life too!The only cons of this is the unit was made with cheaply materials, my feelings tell me I will break it one day! Also, the transformation is a bit too complicated, and if you aren't careful, it will break in no time!Overall: It's certainly a BUY for collectors or just whoever that likes transformers, #1 reason, AFFORDABLE!

Yet another well made G1 inspired Optimus Prime
I'm getting a little tired of all the love G1 is getting in the Transformers franchise. Yeah, it started it all, but where's the love for literally anything else? Sure, we're getting Galaxy Force/Cybertron Optimus, after two G1 Optimuses (on top of the fact GF Optimus has a G1 Prime mode). But I digress. I wasn't too sure about this figure, myself, but after a couple reviews I talked myself into pre-ordering- and I'm glad I did. This figure is amazing. The robot mode is fantastic. Looks great and has tons of poseability. The Transformation is complex, but enjoyable with some unexpected flips and reveals. The truck mode is really solid (better than AOE Evasion Prime), but still a bit hollow in the back (which can somewhat be rectified by storing the gun).As someone who wasn't sold on this figure originally, I highly recommend this figure to collector young and old (though younger children may need help transforming him).

Quality
My grandson (10) loved it from the time he opened it until he was able to work around with it, he valued the quality of the product, it became his number one toy since getting it, kind of pricey though but worth it.
