Prices have become obscene
As a vitiligo sufferer, I must wear sunscreen/suncream 365 days each year, even in the Northeastern United States. I've used Blue Lizard exclusively for almost 20 years. Fantastic product, but always expensive. The past few months, however, the prices have risen so quickly (much more quickly than inflation rates) that I just cannot afford it any more. I am thoroughly disgusted.

BEST SUNBLOCK Even in the TX heat!!!!
Love love live this!! My family could be the post child for this brand of sunscreen. My mom has been fighting a rare internal melanoma cancer for two years now so I'm "that" parent when it comes to sunblock. Just like toothpaste it's a necessity at our house! We live in Texas and from early spring through fall we spend a lot of time at the soccer fields and pool so early last spring I did some research looking for the best sunscreen for adults, kids and sensitive skin. My 6 year old can't have anything over SPF30 or he breaks out in a rash. After reading a bunch of articles and reviews from both doctors and consumers I picked this one. We are ending our second year of using Blue Lizard, both babies and the regular blue one and I would never go back to other brands. This summer we were at the lake with family and my son had Blue Lizard on and my cousins daughter, also 6, had Waterbabies, non arasal, on. We applied both through out the day. When we left, late in the day, my cousins daughters face was pink and my son had no signs of sun. I also buy this for my mom. Because of her melanoma and medications she has almost an allergic reaction to the sun and has to use the SPF hats, jackets, shirts, etc. and limit her time in the sun/outside. It works great for her as well and she can still be outside with my son doing "Grammy" things. The sunblock comes out a little runny, not as thick as you would expect but it's almost like it thickens up when you start rubbing it in because if you do not get it rubbed in well you can see the white lotion streaks. Sweating and playing in the water aren't an issue either. Stays on great!! I'll admit it's pricier than going to the local grocery store or pharmacy and buying sunscreen and it's definitely not as convenient as the spray sunscreen but it's definitely worth it!! Like I said, I now won't use anything different!!!

Great For All Skin Types - Including Sensitive Skin w Eczema
I am so glad I found this sunscreen! My son has sensitive skin and suffers from eczema flare-ups. A lot of products seem to aggravate his skin, but not Blue Lizard. The lotion is fairly thin in comparison to some other sunscreens, so I find that it is a bit easier to spread on your skin. You may notice a slight white tint, but that's a very small price to pay for protection. I don't have any issues with it being oily or sticky on my skin, or anyone else's skin in my family. My son loves that the bottle changes colors, and I love it as well b/c it is a great reminder when there are harmful UV rays around us. There is an slight scent, but this product has no added fragrance. Do not get the two confused!I am also really happy that the expiration date for my bottle, which was purchased 4/24/16 is not until January of 2019. While my bottle will never last that long, I'm happy it doesn't have a 1 year expiration date like other products I have purchased. This way, if I have to buy another bottle at the end of the summer I know I can use it next year with little to no concern.I am not bothered by the price. While it is a little bit higher than what you can find easily in a drug-store, there are no parabens in Blue Lizard sunscreen and it was given a rating of 1 (the highest rating you can get) from the EWG. If you aren't familiar with the EWG, it basically means that the ingredients in the product pose a low health concern, while also providing good UVA/UVB protection. Thanks to other reviews, as well as company confirmation, I now know the Baby and Sensitive formulas are very similar - so you can just buy whichever you find at a lower price. I would say if you are going to be spending a lot of time in the water, you may want to look at another sunscreen as this is not water resistant. It's perfect for playing outside in the yard, at the park, or any other time you are spending time outdoors.

Don't Forget Your Blue Lizard!
I must agree with other viewers that Blue Lizard Sunscreen is wonderful. I used it on my daughter and myself (my face) over the last three or four months with no problems. The bottle changes to a HOT PINK in the sun, due to UV rays - neat! Having said this, it helps to remind me why I need to use sunscreen to protect my toddler from sunburn and sun damage to her tender skin. On a hot, sunny day in July, we went to the beach with her class. We were at the beach from 9:30am to around 11am. I put Blue Lizard all over her exposed face, scalp (hairline part on the top of her scalp), tops of ears, neck, arms - anywhere she was exposed to the hot sun. We stayed out for the full hour and a half in the blazing sun. She had no sunburn and was fine. A few days later, I ran into a classmate's mother, who mentioned her daughter got sunburned at the beach that day. I was surprised and asked if she knew of the Blue Lizard brand. The mother had Blue Lizard at home, but her husband used another brand of sunscreen on her daughter that day for the beach outing. Live and learn. Use Blue Lizard on your kids!!! This is a must-purchase item for me. Thank you for letting me share my thoughts!

Great!
Great sunscreen, a little goes a long way! Takes a little work to rub in but provides great long-lasting protection, non-irritating, and waterproof.

Recommended by most respected dermatologists
I have used Blue Lizard for years. Living in sun drenched Florida daily application is a requirement.Meet with dermatologist on a yearly basis and I have no skin issues.

Expired in 4 months
When I buy sunscreen, I expect that the expiration will be more than 4 months later. Unfortunately this is non returnable.

Not at all impressed waste of money !!
After reading some reviews but probably not enough off i ended up going ahead and giving this lotion a try, but i am very disappointed to say first and last as this makes my skin look extremely greasy and heavy and made me break out! Takes abit to rub in before the white blends in but unfortunately will not be buying this product again :( for this price can get a much nicer gel based SPF 50.I have tried it on my kids and similarly it leaves a greasy look of grey on them even tho they are fair skinned and takes abit blending it in, would recommend heliocare range much easier to apply and non greasy looking

Careful which one you buy
Okay - so this isn't the one for the Aussie market. This is actually the one for the US market, and as such contains all those things in sun cream you were trying to avoid. So quite an expensive option for a sun cream that isn't as special as expected.
