Great worked like a charm in my Lenovo ThinkServer_T150, but take in mind this is for 7mm SSDs only!

I will say I did have to call the manufacture for support and not the Amazon reseller. But they were very willing to help.

I have set up two of these now and am very happy with them. There can be some minor deviations in the unit's connections compared to the SSD so go easy when installing drives. There aren't rails which line the drives up perfectly. Push the drive in with a gentle fingertip -- if you have the right index (for the power and data ports) it will slide in and you can lock it. Highly recommend opening and closing the drive doors (reseating the drives) every few months. I have found that leaving them connected without reseating can result in a drive disappearing due to dust? corrosion? or ? on the port connections. Reseating them once in a while (when the unit is powered OFF) seems to prevent that. Also, you should use straight SATA connectors for the unit, not right angle. I wish they designed it so I could use right angle (easier to install) but not a huge critique. The unit fan has high/low settings. I wish it had a temp-dependent setting OR connected to one of the motherboard's fan connectors so it can flow variably. If you have a decent fan system in your PC case, keeping the raid unit fan on low is fine. It is noisy on high. Make sure to get the thicker optical drive unit (12mm?) Slim not ultra slim. The Ultra slim units are very fragile. 100% happy with it, 4 stars because it could be a little better, but really 4.5 stars. Wishlist: Temp sensor fan, better located connectors, drive rails, but can 100% recommend.

About to Upgrade to GA-990FXA-UD5 (8 SATA) and install Windows 7 in a computer that only has 3 drive bays. I have another on of these that I've had for 5 yeas. The New one has cooling fans and does not need special connectors for the Slimm Optical Drive.

Willing to update this if I get a response from IcyDock. Installed an LG GTC0N, which matches the form for the optical section of this unit, but the optical drive does not get any power. The hard-drive portions work just fine, and the build is solid. A little disappointed in the locks, but they are more than adequate for preventing accidental removal, or dissuading an honest thief. Update: The problem is either Icy Dock's engineers, or LG's, and I don't have the time to research which. Installing the DVD player on the given tabs, the DVD player is too far forward, and doesn't plug in. It's off by about half a centimeter. I was able to get it to work by removing the mounting screws, shifting the DVD player into position, and mounting it there using metal HVAC tape. Now the whole unit works perfectly. Upgrading to three stars, but if someone convinces me that it was LG that put the screw holes in the wrong place then it would deserve 5 stars.

icy docks are the way to go if you still own and like to watch ur own MOVIES

It’s not to run OS windows 10 on it. It has a build in raid in it, and it will corrupt your hard drive or SSD. It’s only for storage drives. I lost a new SSD that I bought and I had to get another one. They should give more detail on their product.

Great for shoving six RAID'ed SDDs and a CDROM into one 3.5" drive slot. Works well with 7mm thick SSDs and the metal frame and fan draw the heat away.

Rack de très bonne qualité : un seul regret concernant le produit lui même : l'absence de pas de vis sur la partie inférieure (sous le rack) pour des montages sur socles. Prix quand même élevé.

5インチベイに1ODD＋2HDD（2.5'）のリムーバブルベイを備える本製品、 同メーカのODD固定装着式製品（MB732SPO-B）とは約6,000円の価格差です。 ・筐体はしっかりしています。HDDベイはキャディ方式ですが、取付は皿ねじ＋ キャディ側にもこれに対応した窪みがあって、正確な位置出しが期待できるとおり、 届いた製品ではフィッティングは良好でした。 惜しむらくは、HDDベイにロックがかけられないこと。簡易式でいいから欲しかった。 ・ODDベイがフロントパネルから脱着可能な機構の方も、フィッティングは良好です。 ロック用のネジを緩めると、スプリングでドライブに取り付けたサイドバーが飛び出し、 脱着を可能にする仕掛けとなっています。 ただ、ネジが取り外せないので手回しネジへの換装ができず、スクリュードライバ必須です。 ・最後に掲題のコストパフォーマンスですが、接点が増えてしまうリスクも「ODDだし、 万一の認識不良時はドライブを取り出してUSB接続すれば原因切り分けできるから」 などと、ほとんど受容方針のリスク対応策を言い訳に、私はクリックしてしまいました。 ODD換装などライフで10回もないと思いますが、「マジンガーZ」世代には このギミックは悪魔のささやきです。 2024/02追記 ODD固定式のモデルも考えましたが、キャディの形状が異なるので再度同じ製品を購入。 前回は気づかなかった注意点を追記します。 ・HDD用トレイが再度に寄りすぎているので、取付ネジ穴が浅すぎる。 スライドマウンタのピンを引っ掛けて押し込むタイプのケースに装着しようとしたら、 ネジ穴の深さ不足で装着できませんでした。 ピンを切ってしまうと他のドライブマウント時に支障が出そうなほどなので、 ねじ止め式の別ケースに装着することになりましたが、ドライブベイ枠が薄いタイプなので 付属の3mmネジでも内部に飛び出してしまい、HDDが装填できませんでした。 2mmのネジは手元になく、とりあえずワッシャを入れて対処していますが、 HDD用両スロットを1mm程度中寄せすれば済むことなのに・・・と思います。

パソコンケースの5.25inスロットが残ってBlack Vortexと一緒に購入しました。 筐体も頑丈し、簡単にssdを6スロットまで追加ができました。 設置中に自分のミスで電源の差し込み口が割してしまいましたが、ご親切に対応していただいてよかったんでした。 機会があれば、また今度も利用したいと思います。
