Pablo Picasso: Meet the Artist

This book is superbly set out and and very informative for the younger budding artist. I bought this for my 10 year old son and he is engrossed in it. It is not your usual text book, but rather a plethera of visual and written information with things to do as well. Also some great questions of enquiry throughout the book to make the reader think about the art and about Picasso's life. A fantastic buy!

This would also be a good gift for the elementary school art teacher in your life. It presents an easy interactive method to teach children about modern art. The other books in this series do a good job as well though my favorite is the Picasso edition.

What a great book to get younger children interested in Pablo Picasso. I bought it for my daughter who is 6. It is a little too old for her, it may be better suited for her at 8 years. Non the less I enjoyed reading it, and am looking forward to sharing it with her in a few years.

Lovely book, lovely quality. Very informational, but best for a single reader or two -- lost of foldouts that don't make since for a class read.
