Sad state of USA basic manufacturing quality control
Pro's: this Amazon seller was 10$ less than others; simple; good hard rubber tumbler containers with flats inside for effective tumbling action - and a simple reliable seal design; Made in USA.Con's: lack of pride in quality control - ink pad print was blurred & incomplete (seriously, wipe the wet ink off and print it again); motor has a low-quality loosely crimped together housing (paint is chipped around crimps); motor fan does not circulate much air and just running constant with little load in the tumbler containers at room temperature (70degF), the motor case gets to 158degF (should have a "Caution HOT Surface" label at that point); motor cord wiring was separated well beyond the strain relief; no rubber feet results in loud vibration and damage to table surface over running time (recommend 4 stick-on rubber cone feet 20mm dia x 22.5mm height, they work very nicely).I recommend a little Tri-Flow teflon lube for the plastic sleeve bearings. Once the bearings are lubed and cone rubber feet installed, the unit is comparatively much quieter.

Gets the job done.
I was a bit taken aback by the light, simple construction. My guess is you could build one for about $15. But the watertight containers were something else again. They are indeed watertight and made of a very tough sturdy rubber that would probably outlast the rest of the machine ten times over. Probably the whole machine is worthwhile to buy just to get the containers.

The motor runs extremely hot, but the only reason I won't return it is because of the rubber tubs.
Love the tubs, but the construction of this machine for $200 is ridiculous. The motor runs hot all the time, I cannot trust this machine to be left unattended for fear of fire hazard. The tubs are really good so they are now inventory for another tumbler from somebody else.
