Lipper International 826 Bamboo Wood Kitchen Tools in Mesh Bag, 6-Piece Set

I have an obsession with wooden kitchen tools. However, they aren't cheap so I don't have very many!However, this set was priced at such an affordable price that I figured it couldn't hurt to try them out. I have to admit they are just as nice as my high dollar wooden utensils! They look nice, are weighted well and fell good in my hand. The assortment is so wide that there is one for each of my needs. These Bamboo kitchen utensils look nice sitting on the counter in my utensil container.I've been using these for a few weeks now and I am in love with them. They work really well, have held up to a lot of cooking, and clean up well also. Other wooden utensils I have used in the past have stained due to the food, but these ones have not stained at all. They have come perfectly clean after every use.I would recommend these kitchen utensils to anyone looking for a similar product. They really are as nice as they look. They feel great in your hands and are great to cook with.

I am not a fan of the rubber or silicone cooking tools you find most anywhere, and plastic should never be an option. So when I am cooking with non stick pans or even cast iron, I prefer a good wood utensil. This set covers all the basis for your common cooking needs. The handles are sturdy and wide enough where I dont feel I would break them. The bamboo is nice and lite and can be used in high heat recipes without any issues. One thing to take note of is if you are wanting to flip things like burgers or pankakes you are still going to want to have a good stainless spatutla around as the bamboo ones are a higher profile, That is not to say you can't use one for flipping , it just is not the best tool.This set is strait forward in the uses and should be paired with a nice bamboo crate holder or some hangers.Hand wash is best and avoid soaking or dishwashing. I would recommend washing thoroughly before your first use to remove and colored moisture still on them.All in all they are a great value and in using them over a more synthetic tool that will not last as long they are an eco friendly option.

I use this set almost every day for cooking and baking. I've had them for nearly a year and they still are doing a great job! One of them has a little bit of wood splinter sticking out the side but I'm guessing I could sand that down again. Otherwise, these bamboo utensils have not split ... are comfortable in my hand ... and look lovely as a set in my utensil vase.However, make sure you always hand wash these. I've had them for a year but have only hand washed them. I know with real wooden spoons, they could crack in the dishwasher ... so although these might not do that, I've just taken the precaution to wash them by hand in warm soapy water. They clean up real easily though, so it's never been a burden.Great set for a great price.

I really enjoy cooking with bamboo utensils. For years I've used wooden ones but prefer the earth friendliness of the bamboo. I find myself reaching for the bamboo more than the silicone or the metal ones for just about everything but flipping pancakes and eggs over easy.They are wonderful to cook with and lighter than wood. For the price you can't do better. Wouldn't make oatmeal or scrambled eggs without them. The bamboo is kind to stainless steel and non-stick cookware.A few reviews mention that this set is coated in lacquer. I have no idea what they are talking about because there is nothing on my tools that I see except bamboo. Of course you are going to see natural formations in the bamboo because it is part of the bamboo makeup. Like the wood grain in wood? Manufacturers want to churn their products out fast and as low cost as possible for maximum profit. They are not going to spend money on lacquer and take time to apply it only to poison everyone who buys their product.I love my set and plan to be using these for a good long time!

These are essentially the same as any other set, except for the cut quality.Pros:OK priceWood is good qualityStandard varietyCons:Cut quality/fit and finish is terrible. Wherever there was a cut to shape these, there are a few stray splinters. One hole wasn't fully drilled, and a few more had shards of wood stretching across. All of the holes were placed at a different point on the handle by a few millimeters. It looked like I got an unfinished product. I had to sand them all down, drill the holes better, and cut some of the shapes more evenly.Overall: Terrible quality control, needs an extra worker in the line with a square of sandpaper or something. The price was ok, but I would have liked to receive something I could use comfortably.

I've use these cooking utensils every day for over year now, and I have not had a single issue with them. I'm not completely sure if they're dishwasher safe because I didn't read the directions when I received them. But after each use I put them in the dishwasher and they still look pretty good for their age.I'm sure each of them have their own specific use, however I typically only use them when making pasta or cooking on a nonstick pan.They're simple, well-built, and a great value for the money. When they do wear out I plan on buying another set of them.There isn't a whole lot that can be said about these spoons, other then the fact that the came smooth, with not splintering edges and that they have stood the test of time.

Primero estaba buscando los típicos utensilios de cocina, para complementar lo que tenía. El precio es bastante más alto hasta que pensé en un set de madera. La verdad con este set es más que suficiente, todo es de buen grosor y calidad y seguramente me durarán mucho más que un set de plástico o silicona.

Great product! Showed up a little splintered, which most bamboo utensils do that are factory made.To make sure I wasn't eating some Bamboo with my meals I sanded each utensil with 220 & 400 grit sandpaper and they came out wonderfully soft and smooth.I did purchase "Butchers Block Oil" from a hardware store to condition them as well, but you could easily use food-grade mineral oil.Great product, would buy again!

Great set! Can be used for stir fries, pasta, salads, scramled eggs. Super easy to clean.

Son de esos utencilios que debe haber en toda casa, como están hechos de bambú son super resistentes,además de que no rallan para nada ningún recipiente, olla o sartén. Excelente decisión comprar este juego.En cuanto al envío tardó bastante por parte de Amazon México, cerca de 3 semanas, pero si no tienes prisavale la pena esperar el tiempo que tardarán en llegar.

My Daughter says she got them but they feel rough and she will sand them down before she uses them.
