Excellent upgrade to OEM BMW flange
Great Mickey Mouse Flange! If you work on BMW then You know the oem flange is crap and disintegrates over time. This aluminum one is a huge upgrade and fits excellent in the Oil filter housing. For the price it is cheaper and more durable than an Oem which is a great value. I have had it installed on an e90 for 6 months not with zero leaks. Functions flawlessly !

A must do for your BMW
If you have a BMW with this type of coolant flange, it is a must replace item and will last forever and wont leave ypu stranded. If your plastic flange is in pieces when you remove it make sure to clean out and account for all of the broken pieces. Very easy to install. The one I received didn't fit properly due to the supplied o ring which seemed like it was thicker on one side, I replaced it with an o ring that I had and it works perfectly.

2007 BMW 328i- it fits
First, E90 was listed for the 335i but not the 328i. It did fit the 328i as you can see in the pictures. However, irregardless of which engine, the adapter should have fit. When I first tried to install it, it was forcing the bolts at a slight angle where they still grabbed the threads but would have stripped out. I redrilled the hole with a 5/16 bit. The initial tolerance was just way too tight. I was then able to test fit the adapter without the oring and everything sat flush. I installed the provided oring and used synthetic grease, the adapter popped in with very little fuss.Make sure not to tighten the first bolt all the way so you can move it clockwise or counter clockwise ever so slightly to get the other bolt started. I was able to finger tighten both of mine.To remove the old plastic piece, I cut a V shape with my dikes and was able to break it out without cutting or damaging the hose. After that I was able to slide off the compression ring. The provided clamp does suck, but very usable.Be very careful and hold the hose downward so the stuff falls out and not down into your water pump. If you accidentally drop plastic down the hose, remove the two hoses from the reservoir and use your garden hose to push it out the bottom reservoir hose.I did read the negative reviews but a lot of people try and fit orings dry or with the wrong lube.

The holes didn't align when bolting
Just like others warned, the o-ring is a little too big. Have to lube up the crap out of it and after about 30 min of playing around with it, I finally got it to go in correctly. After all that effort of finally getting it in, I find out the holes are off by a millimeter or 2, so the bolt has to go in at a weird angle to bolt up. I almost ended up stripping the thread and decided to just stop, take my losses and buy another brand instead to see if they designed the holes to match the OEM measurements instead. If you look closely at my pic, you'll see the holes are off by a millimeter or 2. Please don't strip the bolt. You're better off buying OEM brand instead!

Review from BMW Technician!!
Ok so been working on just BMW's since 1987 so seen a few. My wife has an 07 525i and of course the plastic fitting just broke off. The factory BMW hose with fitting is way more expensive and will fail again and again unlike this aluminum fitting.I rarely endorse aftermarket parts specially for BMW's but this is an exception. This aluminum fitting eliminates the possibility of it ever breaking again and the part fits and works perfectly. Just remove two 10mm bolts and pull remaining pieces from inside head sealing area. Use remove original clamp and reinstall with new clamp. If you have never done this before don't worry, it is easy and probably will take no longer than 45 minutes. Note: If you don't the new part will not fit and will most likely have plastic pieces get caught up in the thermostat and water pump.So for the price and quality of this part it is in my opinion awesome!!! Hope this helps and thanks.Oh and yeah taking care of those pesky oil leaks now too!!!
